Pizza Pizza — Restaurant in Whitby

I recently had the pleasure of dining at the Pizza Pizza location on rossland and Anderson and the standout part of my experience was the exceptional service provided by Alisina and Hamid.

From the moment I walked in, hamid greeted me with a warm smile and genuine hospitality. He was knowledgeable about the menu and took the time to answer all of my questions, making thoughtful recommendations that perfectly matched my tastes. His attentiveness and friendly demeanor made me feel welcome and valued as a customer.

But the service didn't stop there - alisina another staff member, also went above and beyond to ensure my visit was fantastic. He checked in on me throughout my meal, and and making sure I had everything I needed. His proactive and kind approach to customer service was truly impressive.

Beyond the wonderful service, the pizza itself was excellent. The crust was perfectly crispy, the sauce was flavorful, and the toppings were fresh and generously portioned. It was easily one of the best pizzas I've had.

However, it was the exceptional customer service from Alisina and Hamid that truly made this visit stand out. I would give zero stars to this store if I had an option here. They have messed up our pizza order multiple times. We always request extra cheese and they never add enough even to cover the base. There are patches of cheese on pizza and none near ends. Last order was the worst experience ever. The pizza did not have any base sauce added to both pizza and there was barely any cheese added to it. We requested for replacement pizza at 10:30 pm and the pizza did not arrive until 11:45 pm. We called customer service at 11:50 am. Customer service said the order will be delivered in 5 min, however the pizza did not arrive until 12:15 pm. We called customer service again, they said that the pizza was already delivered. We did not receive the pizza and the supervisor said that she cannot do anything as the store is saying that they already delivered the pizza. The store was clearly lying as we have video cameras at our door and noone had delivered pizza at our door. Never ever going to order again from Pizza pizza as this is the closest store and pizza pizza can only send our delivery order to...

Every time I visit this Pizza Pizza location (which isn’t very often) it’s usually pretty quiet, but always clean, and the staff are consistently friendly and welcoming.

Today, our family of four stopped by. I had placed an order through the app for a medium pepperoni pizza but forgot to select the option for half cheese, half pepperoni. When I mentioned the mistake to the staff, they were incredibly accommodating, even though the pizza was already in the oven. They didn’t show the slightest bit of annoyance and quickly found a way to make it right.

My husband ordered a chicken sandwich that unfortunately had a strange texture. It didn’t look undercooked, but something about the taste and feel was off. When he politely shared his concern with the staff, they listened without giving any attitude or resistance. They immediately took the sandwich back and offered him something else instead.
