Our group of 4 decided to go for breakfast here since itâs always good food and honestly we will never be going back. We had a bad experience about a month ago but let it slide, when we got there today, the restaurant was busy naturally as again itâs good food. Our group noticed it was the same waitress weâd had previously and immediately were not looking forward to this breakfast. We sat down and waited for menus and drinks that came after another table (who had walked in after us ) were served drinks and already placed their orders. We ended up grabbing our own menus and not even 2 minutes after the waitress asked if we were ready to order, our group said no we need a little more time and we were met with an âUrgh okayâ and she walked off. I understand being busy and only having one waitress but the fact that you clearly have worked there a while (based off older reviews and poor attitude noted as well) being busy should not be something new and projecting onto your customers isnât ideal. It honestly feels like you either need to be a regular or be over 70 to actually have good service. It honestly felt like I needed a membership card just to...
Read moreFive of us tried to get a table in this establishment but were told to wait which we cheerfully did. When it became available, a waitress instructed us to go to a table for four where a chair would be added. Other patrons began shouting at us saying five people cannot fit in that restaurant but I have seen that in the past there have been tables arranged for six people. One of the staff started to move another table around to accommodate the five of us better. Suddenly a waitress starts yelling from the other side of the diner to make the guy cease in his table moving. She shouted, âno no noâ which made everyone stop and glare at us. At that point we all donned our coats and left. The miserable atmosphere in this diner was about as low class as you could get. We will never be humiliated in public like again. I will never step foot in that depressing place during...
Read moreWe recently visited T&D and had a mixed experience. The food was good overall. 2 eggs scrambled were great, the home fries, while a bit greasy (which I enjoy) were tasty, and I appreciated the option to order a side of gravy â which some breakfast establishments don't offer. The bacon, however, was a little too salty for my taste.
Also ordered a pancake, but its size was quite disappointing; it was so small that it felt off-putting. On the bright side, the coffee was enjoyable.
The wait staff seemed fine despite hearing comments about them not being overly friendly. However, the music playing was a downside. It was a bit loud, and given the season, I wouldâve preferred Christmas music to match the festive vibe.
Overall, a decent experience with a few areas that could be improved. Not sure if...
