Good Bye Popeyes! I would consider us long time Popeye customers. I recently ordered chicken, mash potatoes and gravy. When I was handed my order, I asked if the mash and gravy were in the bag, the server confirmed that they were. I drove home and discovered that the mash and gravy were missing and instead I had been given a large french fries. I drove back to the store and made my complaint. Now, I can overlook that they got my order wrong, I can overlook that the server failed to check my order, and I can overlook that I had to drive back to the store, but what I cannot overlook is the fact that the server took back the french fries and threw them back into the the fry basket with the newly cooked fries. When I asked the server why she did that, adding that I felt that was unacceptable, she responded with "that's what we always do!" Taking back food that has already been served to a customer and returning it back to be served to someone else is unhygenic and simply not safe! These unsafe standards are way below what is acceptable and cannot be overlooked. I'm absolutely shocked that Popeyes would allow this practice, and obviously, we will...
Read moreThis was, without a doubt, one of the worst restaurant experiences I’ve ever had. I visited around 11-something in the evening, and from the moment we walked in, the staff member we encountered was shockingly rude—no greeting, no basic courtesy, just an attitude that made it clear we weren’t welcome. It honestly felt like we were being given charity food rather than being paying customers.
Her tone was insulting, her behavior confrontational, and her complete lack of professionalism was beyond disappointing. It seemed like she was deliberately trying to make us uncomfortable. I can’t imagine how many other customers have had their experiences ruined because of her. Someone with that attitude has no place in the hospitality industry.
Service is just as important as the food, and no one should have to deal with such blatant disrespect when they’re simply trying to enjoy a meal. If management doesn’t address this, they’ll only continue to...
Read moreI finally found a fast food restaurant with a thick chicken patty! I have become disillusioned by their competitor's shrinkflation tactics (reducing the thickness of their chicken in their chicken burgers), so I have been contemplating trying Popeyes. I'm so glad that I did! The batter wasn't greasy either. You can taste a little bit of oil, but you don't feel it. My hubby was over the moon with his Ghost Pepper Chicken sandwich. The fries were a nice change. We will definitely return to Popeye's!
