Let me start by saying that this Swiss Chalet is fantastic in terms of both food and service. I have been coming to this Swiss Chalet on a near weekly basis for approximately 2 months now on my way either to or from doctors appointments and have yet to have an experience that was any less than amazing. I have been to the restaurant during rushes and more quiet times and the service and food quality has remained consistently unbelievable. One of the best things about this place is the portion sizes at this Swiss Chalet are HUGE compared to any other that I have been to and that I have had 4 different waitresses in my visits each one of them were nothing short of perfect, from checking in regularly and super short waiting times to keeping an eye on how full our drinks were each time they pass and regularly filling them up. I have ordered a variety of their menu item including their soups, salads, pasta, chicken and sandwiches and I have yet to be disappointed. It’s also worth noting that I have taken my mother here a number of times and each time she gushed about how this food is just like how she remembers from her childhood which is significant because she grew up in Quebec living in an apartment above the ORIGINAL Swiss Chalet before it was franchised and has always expressed disappointment over the quality of food and service at any other Swiss Chalet we’ve been to (and believe me we’ve been to a lot in hopes of finding some of that childhood nostalgia). All in all I could recommend this...
Read moreMy 93 year old mother spent $80 for the mess you see. Fries overcooked, the cheese on it was dried and lumpy and even the gravy wouldn't melt it, the chicken pieces on it are huge, deep fried pierogies (deep fried?) The breaded chicken pieces were practically inedible.
What is wrong with this manager that he doesn't know this is going on in his establishment. Really sad!! 🙄Click on the photos above then latest.
Oh the salad was good, hence the one star. 🙄

Didn't want to go to the Laval St. Swiss Chalet just to be disappointed a third time so decided to go here. Food was great but this time didn't make it complicated by getting a baked potatoe or having the chicken cut in half. 🙄 They did however forget the butter for the buns , not a biggie.
We arrived, called, told them where we were parked and he came out with our order. I rolled down the window and the nice gentleman said that I should have gone inside to the takeout because curbside pickup is a different price. WHAT?? The whole point for me is staying away from other people. Nowhere on the app does it give me a choice. So as far as keeping a distance, didn't happen. He handed me the food through the window about 2 feet away without a mask. In his defense I wasn't wearing one...

🍗🍗 Double leg dinner with fries: 10/10 Chicken was juicy and extremely flavorful. I love Swiss Chalets fries, they taste very homey.
🍗 Quarter chicken dinner with Caesar salad: 10/10 Chicken was also just as good as the double leg dinner. Caesar salad came in a pre-packaged set with bacon bits and a sauce packet. I opted out of the croutons. The sliced parmesan was perfect to tie it all together.
🥧 Chicken pot pie: 9/10 Delicious, creamy filling with chicken, celery, peas, carrots and potato. The top crust was supee flaky, but wish the crust was a bit bigger as it didnt cover the whole pie. This is perfect if you are looking for comfort food and goes well with louisiana hot sauce.
🍰🍰 2 Slices of Pie Special: 9/10 Our go-to is the coconut cream pie. It is so fluffy and creamy. Also tried the pecan pie which we ate with a scoop of ice cream.
Overall, I am very pleased with my experience from this Swiss Chalet location. A classic dinner option when you don't feel...
