Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen — Restaurant in Whitby

At 10:55pm on Sunday October 1st, 2023 I went to this location to ask why they hung up the phone on me because I was asking what time they closed at and why it say’s something different on google. The so called manager hung up the phone on me said that I was playing games because I was calling from outside. I asked her if it was acceptable customer service to hang up the phone and she said yes that it was her form of customer service. I asked to speak to the managers she said she was the manager. I then asked to speak the the general manager and she pointed to him. I went on to call me sister and his dearest customer in a condescending manner and I asked him if her form of customer service was acceptable and he went on to say how he can’t control how she acts. He then told me how Canada is a free country and how both him and her can say whatever they want to me. I asked him how he would feel if he was asking about something and the person on the other end hung up in the middle of their sentence. He told me he would be upset as well. He then started yelling at me and telling me how I needed to leave because they were closed and how I was there for 15 minutes wasting their time. Meanwhile the other manager was in the corner laughing at me and speaking in their language. Never in my life have I felt this bad in my life and never have I ever been made to feel less of a human and honestly I don’t think anyone should ever have this experience especially working in fast food. Unfortunately missed the mark repeatedly. Been here a few times and there always seems to be an issue. Today, we ordered two platters, one being a deluxe sandwich and one being 6 piece ghost pepper wings. Got two sandwiches with the sides and no biscuits. When we let the clerk know, she corrected the mix up of sandwich and remade wings for us, however was insistent that platters do not come with biscuits. When we showed her on the menu board, her response was that her system says otherwise. I've never been to a Popeyes that refuses to give biscuits with their meals as advertised. There has been a prior incident where they realized they were out of biscuits and offered to make some for a family meal I ordered, and I accepted as I had to wait anyways for the food, however proceeded to give me fries instead of the six biscuits after having me wait. Today however, even the mac n cheese was pretty much soup, more liquid than pasta and tasted very weak. Disappointed and will not return to this location, much better locations not...

I ordered the family feast from here. The food was so disgusting all of the 6 piece chicken was raw. The two sandwiches I got were so oily with a disgusting smell. And to make matters worse, their customer service was a complete letdown. I mean, seriously, how hard is it to provide quality food and decent service? This Indian Punjabi lady was so rude. I went back to show them the nasty food they gave me and she said “ I don’t eat this type of stuff. I don’t know what you’re talking about because I’m vegetarian and I don’t eat this type of stuff ” GIRL? What? This does not make sense. Why do you work at Popeyes then? So you’re vegetarian and you wanna give people raw chicken?! She did not have any sense in customer service. They also did not give any refund. My siblings literally got sick after eating the nasty sandwich’s.
