The Lion & Unicorn - Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Whitby

My friend ordered a wrap with no onions. When she got her food she took one bite and it was filled with onions. She called her the server and then showed her that they were onions in her wrap and the server said that she would have the kitchen make her a new one. When the new wrap was delivered to the table everyone was halfway done with their meal and she went to take another bite and there was still onions in her wrap and it was quickly thrown together it was messy and you could tell that they tried to take out as much of the onions as they could and then quickly wrapped it back up. When we brought this to the server's attention she brought it back to the kitchen and that's when we finally got a wrap that was freshly made but by that time everybody was finished with their meal. We were frustrated and when it came time for the bill we had not been compensated for the mistake. Our night had been ruined and when we brought this to the manager's attention he offered to take 20% off of that particular dish even though we were so dissatisfied. Go here for darts so been 8-10 times and food is mediocre at best. The Dijon mustard in the fettuccine Alfredo dish was unwelcome, the sweetness of the bbq sauce on the fajitas was too much and just didn’t compliment the dish properly. The deep fried stuff is okay, but it’s nothing special. The servers are all courteous and nice at least. Unfortunately they lost me when they advertised $0.89 wings in the menu on Tuesday nights, but charged $1.10 on the bill. When asked, the waitress said they’re changing the deal. My visit to the Lion and Unicorn was incredibly disappointing. The service was painfully slow, with servers forgetting the basic task of bringing the menu. To add to the frustration, 15 minutes after placing my order, the server had to double-check what I ordered because of their forgetfulness.
