Gong Cha Stouffville — Restaurant in Whitchurch-Stouffville

I was pleasantly surprised to discover another bubble tea establishment in Stouffville. I have been here twice (Once in November, and once today) since discovery. With so many bubble tea’s it can be difficult to know which ones are to your liking or not, and whether they are consistent throughout the chain. I’ve heard of Gong Cha but never went to one until the Stouffville location opened up.

On each visit we ordered some drinks and bubble waffles. The drinks tasted good with the ability to adjust the sweetness and ice level to your preference. Their tapioca has a good spring and chew to it.

We also ordered some of their bubble waffles, and a “Croffle”. Both were tasty and made fresh so you can expect a bit of a wait.

Kudos to the staff working there as they were super friendly on each occasion. We will definitely be coming back the next time we need a bubble tea fix.

The only negative for me is the Gong Cha’s phone app / loyal rewards program. Not that easy to figure out / sign up for. (But that could just be me)

I've been visiting the Markham GongCha for quite awhile now, so to see a Stouffville location close to home made me really happy. I didn't know what to expect coming into the store given some of the negative reviews and knowing that there aren't many bubble tea shops in Stouffville itself.

I was greeted by the people working there and had two other people ahead of me in line. The wait wasn't long as there were two other people in the back working on making drinks. I ordered my regular lychee oolong tea, and it was made (almost) perfectly. The only suggestion I'd have is for the tapioca to be cooked a tidge longer as it was still a bit on the stiffer side.

Customer service is by far better than the Markham location I've been to. My little one accidentally dropped my drink, and of course, to any bubble tea drinker's nightmare... you automatically become heartbroken. The kind workers saw what happened and offered a re-make of the drink and to bring it to the car so I didn't have to worry about my toddler.
