I've been a dedicated patron of Mountain Pizza and Steak House in Whitecourt since 2007, indulging in their exquisite steak dinners after long days of field work. The consistency in delivering the best steak dinner in Alberta is truly commendable.

The steak, cooked to perfection, always meets my preference for medium rare, and even when it occasionally leans towards rare, it's a welcomed deviation. The culinary expertise shines through in every bite, showcasing a grilled perfection that's hard to rival.

I am a fan of the Edson Mountain Pizza location for years now. I recommend that restaurant without reservation to anyone who cares about Pizza.

I was always curious about the Whitecourt location, and finally was able to visit this summer to make an order for pick-up. Sadly, what I received was a half-baked pie that could not be resusitated with the help of an oven. I noted that even the fragrance of the pie was not the same as the original Edson location.

I was heartbroken. I noted my experience to my friends and family, and I didn't mention the problem to the Whitecourt staff. Though I'm sure they would have tried to remedy the situation, I have never been given a half-baked soggy pie by a pizza place before. I don't think I will ever return.

We stopped here for dinner on our way through town recently and I don't really get what all the hype in the reviews is about. The service was excellent, admittedly, but the restaurant was dark with outdated decor and the food was hit and miss. My partner ordered the ribs while I ordered pizza. Her ribs were cooked well and the house-made Caesar dressing was great, but the garlic bread was just toasted white sandwich bread with so little garlic in the butter you could barely taste it. My pizza was very under baked in the middle and the sauce was extremely bland. The house-made cheesecake with strawberry compote for dessert was very good, though, so at least there was that. All in all, I'm not in a hurry to come back. The quality of the food just did not live up to...
