Sam's Restaurant — Restaurant in Williams Lake

My boyfriend is very loyal and returning customer. Friday he decided to order out. Ordering a number 8 but after getting home and sitting down to eat it he found it was missing a very important part missing...the meat. Now on a 20 dollar meal the meat missing is unacceptable. He called to let Sally know of this mistake very politely. And Sally promised him a free number 8 on a day of his choosing. Very very nice however when he called today Sunday to get his promised number 8 free of charge. Sally had with full knowledge that her staff had left out the meat to his meal that she promised to replace decided to go back on her promise. Only offering to give extra meat on a number 8 he had to repay for or 20% off. So that was very disappointing. We won't be returning. And will be informing people that they forget to add portions of their numbers with no intention of correcting their own mistake but will take your money...

I would say the worst Chinese restaurant ever... I ordered only a few items, and they said 20 mins and I got there late, and they want an extra 10 Mins. Fine, I will wait. When I got the order, there was no cutlery, no napkin, no nothing. When we opened the boxes, it was so disappointing. The beef fried rice was disgusting, the rice was overcooked, and it looked like a porridge to us. And also very little ingredients that u can count on your fingers. The only flavor that I can think of the fried rice is SALT. The quantity and quality are so poor compared to how expensive the order was. Fried chicked was old as my grandfather. It was super dry as Nevada desert. I don't mind paying for good food but this.. I never gonna come here and never suggest this restaurant ever to anyone, even someone...

Based on the lower reviews I decided to go for chicken wings and ginger fried beef, both items which usually originate from the supplier. The wings were perfectly crispy but lacking flavor you'd find elsewhere. ginger beef bit over cooked and paired with an overly sweet and abundant sauce but the great addition was lots of nice sautéed veggies. it was the only restaurant open. based on this, I'd rather eat here again if everything else was closed than say fast...
