barBURRITO — Restaurant in Winnipeg

I used to be a customer often even. Didn’t have issues as a customer. But tonight as a door dash rep I was treated like I have leprosy. Like we live in a world that still tells people were they can sit on the bus or weather there allowed in a specific area of a restaurant. Really I was so freaking insulted honestly I can’t even. I was there representing a already paid customer. Her order was pushed back to do other peoples orders even tho she’s paid up and waiting already. I wasn’t allowed to sit the lady told me to move to the corner then when order was almost ready I went towards the other lady to pick it up and she told me to get back and go to the corner. Wow wow wow now I won’t get to make pickups for dash here cause I won’t be made to feel like that ever again just gross rude behaviour. Do better with people period don’t matter if it’s a driver of your paying customer or direct customer inside paying. I tried Bar Burrito in Fort Richmond for the first time. On first appearance the look is clean and friendly. The layout and food prep looks like a clone of a Qudoba, but very simplified. The menu is slim with a rather non-mexican array of choices. I ordered a pork burrito. The basic burrito is offered with a flavored rice, choice of black or pinto beans, a protein plus a few added condiments. This choices is slim. Salsa was a pried version of a Pico salsa. No mild, medium or hot choices. The most Mexican flavor was the cilantro. My pork tasted more like a BBQ pork dish, then Mexican. I ordered the"mild chicken" for my wife. She couldn't eat it as it was dry and had no chicken flavour at all. While the server was pleasant and courteous, the food was not at all what I expected. I give the a 3 out of 5 rating. Food: 2/5 The food is very mediocre. There beans are always raw, they have a very serious bite to them. Please fix that. Quesadilla felt very waxy.

Menu: 2/5 They have misleading menu, it says the quesadilla comes with a sauce on the side however when I told them which sauce I would like, they told me it doesn’t come with any sauce. It’s literally on the menu board. They seem very protective and stingy with the sauces they have.

Service: 4/5 Good. The lady who works at night is great, she helped us and suggested good options and combinations. Aside from the sauce misunderstanding everything else is good. The restaurant is also very clean.
