Edo Japan — Restaurant in Winnipeg

I went in and ordered soup, I guess there was some sort of miscommunication error... Because I received a beef bowl with ramen noodles. I was kind of put off when she offered how many scoops of sauce I wanted and I replied you put sauce in soup.... 😕 but everything is made differently at each place, so I didn't really question..I also mentioned in our conversation that this would be the first time I'll be having the ramen soup from here 🫥 fine get back to my car just to check the order because the container was fairly flat and wasn't the same container that was depicted in the picture, that's when I discovered that this was in fact not soup! So I went back inside to plead my case and they kindly exchanged it for what I ordered, I thought I had placed, which was supposed to be the ramen beef soup. They kindly remade the order, but unfortunately It was not to my satisfaction! I've had many ramen soups and this was by far was very disappointing, a little bit more especially for the price I had paid. I'm speculating...but I'm not too sure if the samecare was taken, due to miscommunication error. When your not feeling well, all you want is some soup, you have no time to cook! It was flavorless and I did not receive the hot sauce that...

I ordered a family meal, all the same for 2 adults and 2 child's meal for take out which was yakisoba noodles and beef, as well as tempura and some sushi. It was around closing time, not busy at all when my husband came to pick it up at around 9pm. When he brought home the food, one of the adult meals were rice instead of yakisoba noodles, and the 2 orders of tempura has no sauce with it. Also the kids meal comes with juices and had the option to pick if it's fruit punch or apple juice. I chose both fruit punch but apple juice was sent instead :( I called to inform them but the woman who answered instead of listening tried to cut me off, probably thinking I wanted some sort of compensation. I then told her that I was calling to let them know that this is what I got and that I was a new customer and I was just telling them this so they can be careful with their next customers to not mess up their orders. I did not feel any sort of apology coming from the person I was speaking with and it's very sad. The food was okay but because of bad service, we will definitely not order from...

Had a shrimp bento box with rice, and it was excellent. Nice and hot, the shrimp were fresh, and the teriyaki sauce was pleasant. Service was very friendly, and only had to wait about 10 - 12 minutes. For those of us that are not wise about Asian food, it would be good for the menu to indicate which dishes are hot, which are cold, which dishes have cooked vegetables and which have raw vegetables. Hopefully will try and get back there again to try another dish. Loved the food, loved the cheerful...
