I came in at around 4:50pm but left at 5:20pm with an empty stomach and unhappy mood because I just experienced the worst service in my entire life.
First server: When we came in, the server seem like she’s ready to be done with her shift. She spoke to us with no polite word: “Hi, for two?” “Water is fine?” Took our order, we said thank you and she left with the menu but didn’t even bother to say thanks back or your welcome?! Then she dropped off the miso soup said “miso soup”. I don’t know if because I’m a server myself so I just found it so impolite or if I was just too picky? Second server came in so the 1st one left.
Second server: we found the miso soup was warm, not hot enough so we asked her to heat it up or something and she gave us a weird look. Same thing happened, dropped off food, said food item name and walked away pretty quick without at least saying “enjoy your food”!!! I was eating and found a mosquito in my bowl of udon noodles. I didn’t make it a big deal but only showed it to her. She went in the kitchen and this is exactly what she told me: “the kitchen said they didn’t see any mosquito when they finished making your meal, so would you like to cancel your order or they make you a new one?” I was frozen for a second and told her “so what you’re saying is I just grab a mosquito and put it in my bowl?” She said “sorry but ...(repeat what the kitchen said earlier)” I told her I was the service myself and the way she dealt with this is really bad. She said “okay so you want to cancel your order or making a new one?”
How could I be able to eat after being treated like that? in Canada? The country was known of nice people and I wasn’t asking it for free, I pay for my food!!! If she even just said sorry about what happen, would you like to order something else or we can make you a new order, I would be completely fine and happy to eat my meal! I came here often since at least 2012, even tho I moved to the other side of the city I still drive all the way here to enjoy their food but today would be...
Read moreNot going to lie, I didn't have high expectations for this place. I was just looking for some Korean food wile in town. The waitress was friendly and have me the perfect amount of time to order( I'm indecisive).
I got the Gas ran Jim appetiser. What I liked was the menu had pictures for most items. I don't know many of the traditional Korean dishes other than Bulgulgi, jap char, and bimbimbap. The appetiser I have never had so I tried it since I love eggs and green onion. Other than it came out boiling hot it was good and I am impatient.
I got bimbimbap and it was absolutely amazing. One of the best I've ever had. The only complaint I had was it was served with my appetiser and so I felt rushed. O well it gave it time to cool down.
The sides were really good too. Espically the sweetened potato. It ain't had a brown sugar/maple taste to it. Kimchi was good and the bean sprouts were really good too.
I'm for sure going to come back next time...

Firstly I must mention to you that my friends and I, we like trying new cuisines & flavours, we go out for food at least twice a week and we usually don't pay over 25 per person. I must also declare to you that we don't have strange willing on food.
We decided to go to this restaurant as we wanted to eat traditional Korean cuisine, it turns out the experience was the worst we have experienced in years. No tips sorry. They even forgot to place the trash plate on the table, so what we do with all the bones from the soup, yes on the table, I guess that's what they want. it was a big mess. Quality and Quantity were as bad as the bad concentrated lemon juice that was forgotten in the cabinet. What do you do, trash it.
In a few words...you should better try McDonalds on the main road...a block away from the...
