Chicken Chef — Restaurant in Winnipeg

Wish I could rate you better but the customer experience was not to par. Last time we visited was the same so we thought to be fair we would come back. Unfortunately no better. Strike 1. Seated and ordered quickly but never told we would be waiting 1 hour for our food to arrive at our table. Had we known, we would have made a decision as we had other plans afterwards . Strike 2. As we each all ordered different items we noticed a dinner under the warmer that sat there for 20 minutes which appeared to be mine. Well it was. Fries dried out on the outside, food was lukewarm at best. No one came back to ask for refills or how everything was so I will tell you here. Not good and not impressed. Strike 3. Went to pay upfront and it was our server. Again Never asked how everything was just gave us a total and how will you pay. Your out! Shame on the management not ensuring to communicate to customers or ensure staff asks how is everything. That comes down to proper training. If your kitchen is backed up an hour at supper hour, you are not scheduling enough people to handle the flow. Sorry but this location needs to get a reality check on servicing customers. Perhaps it was the waitress being afraid or not knowing to ask or even advise us that your food will be an hour. It backed me up for the evening. This was your second chance and you failed. I have been a customer here for years and years and my last couple experiences have been quite shameful, I am not one to typically write reviews and or complain but enough is enough. I called well ahead of time lastnight to place an order for my dad that Lori had posted about on the facebook page earlier that morning (Chicken & Pizza combo $36.00), the girl had told me this was not a deal and I had to explain multiple times it is currently posted on the facebook page, i mentioned we were coming shortly and had asked the food be started as soon as they could, we showed up 20 minutes after the call took place for our pickup via the drive-thru, we then had to wait an additonal 23 minutes for the food, the young man at the window said "sorry we are just waiting on chicken" and then came back a few minutes later to say "sorry we are just waiting on fries" odd.. he then sat playing on his phone for the whole 20 some minutes infront of us (the customers) as we waited for our food ... when we FINALLY got our food and got home the pizza was undercooked and the chicken was extremly greasy. I lived down the street from this establismed most of my life and have noticed a huge downfall in quality and customer appreciation/service since the take over that continues to get worse!! Worst experience I've ever received ordering take out. They brought the "hot food" it was cold and disgusting, forgot the all the cold salads so we called back told them was put on hold for 5 minutes then she decided yes we weren't lying and sent the delivery driver back. On arrival the driver brought the salads no big deal but I guess as he was leaving my boyfriends elderly parents were pulling in the drive way with my young step son and nephew in the vehicle only to be screamed and swore at by the delinquent deliver driver who was parked on the road for "not signaling" into my driveway. When we called to complain and talk to a manager we were told that my boyfriends parents followed him and were wrecklessly driving which is blatant lie because the driver was long gone before the kids even got out of the car also my boyfriends father is a former RCMP and a very well respected man who would never do the things the delivery driver is saying to cover his own ass.The manger told us never to come back and that she wouldn't deliver to our house again (oh no I can't eat garbage food and have my children sworn at as the arrive at home) basically it's definitely a bunch of delinquent hibbbillies who work there and give terrible customer service.
