I recently had the opportunity to try the BBQ Chicken Pizza from Gondola Pizza, and overall, it was a satisfying experience. The pizza had a unique twist with its BBQ chicken topping, which added a tasty flavor to the traditional pizza base. One aspect that stood out to me was the richness of the BBQ sauce. It was tangy, slightly sweet, and had a smoky undertone that complemented the chicken perfectly. The chicken itself was tender and had a pleasant grilled flavor. The combination of the sauce and chicken created a mouthwatering taste that I thoroughly enjoyed. However, one area where the pizza fell short was in its saltiness. I found it to be a little too salty for my liking, which slightly affected my overall enjoyment of the meal. It would have been better if the salt content was balanced more effectively to let the other flavors shine through without overpowering the taste buds. In terms of pricing, I felt that Gondola Pizza could have been more budget-friendly. While the pizza was tasty, the price seemed a bit on the higher side for what was offered. A lower price point would have made the experience even more appealing and encouraged me to return more frequently. In conclusion, the BBQ Chicken Pizza from Gondola Pizza was a flavorful and enjoyable dish. The combination of the tangy BBQ sauce and grilled chicken was a winning combination. However, the excessive saltiness was a minor setback, and I believe a reduction in price would make this pizza an even better value. Despite these criticisms, Gondola Pizza overall offers a decent dining experience and is worth considering if you're in the mood for some tasty pizza options.

Excellent service gluten-free crust pizza was perfect. Amazing Gluten Free Pizza Crust - certified gluten free site recommended Gondola St. James because of the care taken to avoid cross contamination for any one with gluten sensitivity or allergy/coeliac. Ordered 12″ BBQ Chicken Pizza w gluten free crust minus beef & ham added pineapple and green pepper soooo good! Service rocks. Thank you!

Had delivery. Ordered Perogie pizza. Regular crust. Got thin crust instead. Overcooked nearly burnt. Could even tell what was on it. I paid for some veggies to be added and could see them because so dark. No sour cream with delivery which is supposed to be standard.. never ordering from here again. Not even going to finish eating this waste if a pizza.

OVERALL - 3.5/5 - I've ordered here enough times to feel comfortable reviewing it. Over the course of probably 8 years I've ordered at least 50 times. Unfortunately I can't give half stars so my review will look less accurate than it is.

FOOD - 4.5/5 - In my experience ordering here the food is fairly consistent and while one would hope for a perfect record you kinda take your chances when getting food made and delivered for you. They have had off days but those are few and far between. I'd say of the 50ish times I've ordered, I've only been served lukewarm pizza once and straight up undercooked pizza once. Which to be fair may have been caused by other issues inside the store, like training a new cook or being very busy that night. Taste wise the pizzas have a pretty good if you're looking for a savory greasy pizza that isn't uppity about how elegant and refined it is. There will alsways be a market for this kind of pizza. Another good point is that I cannot remember a single time I've had a health concern with the food like finding a hair in it or anything spoiled or any burnt bits on the bottom of the pizza from the oven not getting cleaned.

SERVICE - 2/5 - The gentleman who mans the phones comes off as quite unpleasant. He's never been overtly rude to me but he seems to find questions annoying and is very curt. Not at all customer focused. The common response is "it's busy" but I genuinely doubt that the store is constantly busy over the course of multiple years. I have had one pleasant call with him but it was only when I knew exactly what prerequisites to say before my order and my order by heart without any mistakes. When i did that he seemed pleasantly surprised and wished me a good day before i could wish him one. On the plus side the delivery drivers are fantastic. I have never had a negative interaction with them. They are kind, friendly and are the only reason the service section gets 2 stars as without them I'm im not certain i would give the service any stars. If you have extra to spare, please tip the drivers as they really do deserve it.

Ambiance - 3/5 - While I have never visited the store, I'd say about one in 20ish times (i've heard it three times personally) you call the store you can hear either one of the managers or the owner shouting at their employees. I understand that sometimes especially in the business that may or may not keep your family afloat that tempers can rise but it does not grant a good impression to customers. Unfortunately that's as far as my experience in this category can go. I can't comment as to the sanitation of the storefront but as I said earlier, the sanitation of my food never had any issues.

Overall I would recommend this place if you're looking for a good pizza that's unhealthy in all...

We found 2 hair about 6 inches long in pizza. We then stop eating the pizza. Went right away in garbage. That was gross. Sorry! Note: to be honest, before we found those two hair, pizza was not bad.

What they call boneless chicken wings were simply low quality chicken nuggets you can buy at the grocery. Look at picture. Bonus: they were burned!! Unreal. They went right away in the garbage (would you have done any different???).

We asked for courtesy plates, forks and knives. Of course, when ordering, it was not a problem. However, when delivering order, they forgot. Not a good run!!!

I called back the restaurant. Apparently talking to the manager. He was arguing the hairs in pizza!!! He was also questioning about the color of them!!! Honest: gross in your mouth and unethical from a manager.

I asked for a refund (i was so upset). The manager said that this was the first complain OF THE DAY!! Yes, maybe today (i replied). Never got the refund.

You have to understand that I work as a dental surgeon and I was not trying to get a free meal.

Happened Sept 29 2017 at around 8:30 PM local time.

Honest, do not...
