Today sadly I had the worst experience i have ever had with China Garden. Where to start... Ordering was a challenge. The person didn't understand me and I couldn't understand him. But once the painful ordering process concluded I received our order in less time then quoted. Of course I was excited. But this is where everything went down hill. Our order was wrong. We didn't get three items we ordered and was missing a second item we ordered.

When I called in it got so much worse. I had to explain what happen over 20 times. So of course I got angrier and angrier. Once again English isn't understood very well. Having to repeat myself more than 20 time got really frustrating very fast. After texting pictures of what I ordered and didn't receive, I thought things would get easier. But they didn't. I was beyond annoyed at this point. I had to repeat over and over and over and over and over etc what I ordered and what was missing. The person on the other end just couldn't grasp what I was saying. Finally after about 15 minutes of back and non understand forth she said she would bring what was missing. I agreed.

The food that we did receive was delicious as per usual. But since we had to wait for them to return and sort this out our food got cold. So we had to reheat everything. This was our family get together with our family for Christmas. It is always a challenge to match up working schedules. We are really disappointed with this Epic failure. Not sure if we will order from China Garden again. There are other options in our area. I guess it is time to start trying other place.

I guess what really further made me upset 😡 was it took them a long time to show up to fix things. We did give the driver 15% tip as we normally do.

They did give some of our money back that covered the price of the missing items. So I guess I had to give 1 star for service.

We recently tried China Garden again. Back in December is when we had that major issue. As it was our families Christmas get together. So having to deal with that and all our family over at the same time was stressful.

However. This time around they were great. The young lady I spoke to on the phone was easier to understand. The delivery driver called as we requested. The food was hot, fresh and delicious. We will order again from them, but the December incident will be on the back of our minds. Having said that, I would still recommend China Garden. They're food is hot, fresh and delicious. We were loyal customers of this restaurant for the last couple of years, and whenever my husband went to 'pick up' our order, he would always give a good tip. However, when we decided to order our favorite dishes yesterday for New Year's Eve, we called before 4 pm to place the order and were told that we would have it delivered by 7:30 pm. Then, at 7:45 pm, when we called them to find out where our delivery was, we were put on hold several times and talked to three different people before finding out that our order was never made in the first place. Then, they said that it would be another 25 minutes to make it, plus delivery time. I asked if we could get a discount for THEIR SCREW UP, and they said that they wouldn't give us a discount. And they never apologized for not completing our order for us either!!! All they said was that 'they were very busy'. I assume they are always busy on every New Year's Eve, and should be more organized and accommodating to their customers than this. Unfortunately, we never got our Chinese Food for New Year's Eve and they will never get our business ever again!! P.S. there are many Chinese Restaurants out there to choose from, so good luck keeping the customers that you have if you treat them all...

Got delivery for 5:15 , 5:45 I call to see where our food is. They say it's on the way. We are 4.9 kms from the restaurant. I see a vehicle but it goes into the neighbor across the street, then pulls our and into the driveway beside us, then across again. We were flicking the outdoor light on and off to try tohelp but it didn't seem to help. Finally they drive into our driveway and they get out and ask the address. They then take another 5 minutes to get the food out of the vehicle and to the door. The order was $150 and free delivery for under 5 kms. They charged me $3 for being over the 5 km limit, when I googled it it said 4.9 kms. Also there was no white rice in the order. I was mad. I phoned and they said it was 5.1 kms so no free delivery plus extra charge but they gave me free fried rice. They didn't tell me I was getting free fried rice and they don't send white rice when they give free fried rice. Never ordering from China Garden...
