My friend and I had a late night snack in the lounge of this restaurant. It was not busy, with only two other tables active aside from the two of us. We were not greeted with any menus after sitting in the booth for 15 minutes. My friend went up to the bar to ask one of the servers if we could grab a menu, one of the servers pleasantly handed them to us however our ACTUAL server was the most rudest young woman we have ever encountered. She looked very unhappy to serve us, did not tell us any of the specials unless asked, and not once did she check up on us- asking how our food was and if there was anything else we needed once the food was brought.
She was too busy socializing with all of her friends (who were not working but sitting in the front booth beside the bar) laughing and talking to even pay attention to us. While at our table, she not once had a smile on her face and looked like she had the most miserable time having to only serve ONE table in the lounge at 10:00 pm on a Wednesday night on February 12th. She made us feel very unwelcomed and it was as if we were a nuisance to her and her priority to socialize with her friends.
I managed to catch the servers name on our bill - Emma, short blonde hair with big blue eyes and will be contacting the general manager Heather at this restaurant regarding this unpleasant and horrible service. Even if this server did have a bad day, was not feeling well or she was upset about something, that is no excuse to treat customers the way she treated us, especially when you're working in the restaurant industry.
On the positive side, the food at BP was nonetheless great as always. It is unfortunate that the service was...
Read moreAs a returning customer Iâm really disappointed at how ignorant and careless the servers are. Today my bf blood sugar was dropping when he walking pass the restaurant, he came inside looking for help. He was sitting at the front, couldnât speak because he was too weak, he looked like he was gonna passed out. The servers saw him but no one ask if he was ok. When he finally ask one of them for a cup of water with sugar (he did mention his sugar dropped) it took her a while to bring the water and there was no sugar in it, and no candy or soda were offered to him. When I called to complain, the manager said they were too busy at the time that they didnât notice he was there, and they didnât hear he said anything about his sugar was dropping. They apologized to me, I felt better because I thought they really didnât mean it. After I hang up, I called my bf to tell him about the conversation between me and the manager, he told me that wasnât true, it wasnât busy at the time, there were only a couple of customers, the servers saw him, and they did nothing but standing there talking to each other. He was sitting there for 10-15 minutes, no one come to talk to him but they only greeted the customers that walked in after him. Luckily his house is nearby, otherwise idk whatâs gonna happen to him. Worst people Iâve ever seen, not...
Read moreWe were here May 20, about 2:30-3:20pm. Our server, Taniya, was pleasant and confident, funny and engaging, as well service oriented. She gets 5 stars.
It's been a while, but BP Pembina is not like I remembered it. I dont know, but maybe the chef was new or sick? I remember each dish used to be packed with flavor. I used to love their breaded, honey garlic wings, so I ordered wings and then learned they don't serve it breaded anymore. I'm telling you the wings I got tasted like it came straight out of the freezer and into the fryer, then a bit of sauce poured over it. Although it was cooked through, it was tough on the outside. Just Flavorless. Yuck đŁ... Waste of $25. My daughter, who was with me and doesn't like giving "negative feedback," said she would take it home... but if it doesn't taste good fresh, it won't taste good stale. She tried, but it went straight in the garbage. We also had quesadilla and a broccoli cheddar soup, which was mid. She had a redbull berry fishbowl drink & it just didn't taste like a berry drink. BP food really just isn't what it used to be - colorful and appealing to look at and super succulent and tasty. When ur gonna spend $70 to eat out, it really should taste better than drive through fast food or 7/11 dishes. It's time for an upgrade on the...
