Read moreWent there specifically for blizzards. When we got there there was maybe 1 car in the drive thru and 3 people inside in front of us who were waiting for their orders. We see that there is signage stating they cannot guarantee no cross contamination with nuts as they use them in the store; this is fine as we have been there many times and they sanitize the equipment and use fresh tools. Well not this time. We place our order and we mention my nut allergy. The person at the till straight up said no you can't have anything, we have nuts here, are too busy to clean anything and that they don't do that anyways. Read moreNothing like a blizzard on a hot winnipeg day. Thought I would try the drive thru! Short line but difficult interaction with the person taking order, could have been the speaker. Quick service. Had my blizzard in hand with in 2-3 minutes, not your average Dairy Queen, it is salt take way longer to order then wait for them to make that beauty. Unfortunately, faster isn’t always better. At first look the cherry banana blizzard looked awesome. Taste was spot on. After 3 spoonfuls all the actual fruit was gone. Nothing but ice cream, that totally sucked. Disappointed in the quality of product, I usually go to the grant ave or portage ave DQ’s and I must say they r hands down way better than this store....
