The Hangar — Restaurant in Winnipeg

Just waited an hour inside of the restaurant for my burger that was supposed to be ready at 730. The restaurant at the time was not that busy. I would guess about 20 tables or so and from the looks of it, I saw 4 servers so 5 tables a server. There was a decent line of probably 10 or so people at the door and there was no host to greet them. The servers were just saying from the bar top that someone would be over soon to help them. After waiting for about 15 minutes I walked to the bar top and just told them that I had an order for pickup. I paid and they said it would be up shortly. Shortly turned into an hour and I got my burger at 830pm. Tables that were sat after me were eating their food at their tables and I still didn't have my simple burger and fries. After waiting about 30 minutes I asked if I could just have a refund and the server just looked at me and walked away not knowing what to do. There we others that walked in after me ordering the same thing for burger week that were given their burgers before I was. Eventually Ashley came in who I assume was the manager and I got my food maybe 15 minutes after she arrived. Finally got home to eat the burger and it was missing the top bun. Needless to say I am super disappointed with my experience with this restaurant. I will never order from this...

Not lots of people but still waited for food. Before all guests arrived they brought food out, some of it waiting and getting cold until eaten. A cup on our table had what appeared to be paint splatters. In the water jug, we found some black specs. In the ice of a drink my mother paid $9 for we found 3 more black specs. We were finished our food by the time someone had arrived to take our drinks order. Some of us waited upwards of 5 minutes for a cup of soda with no ice. Cups were strangely mixed matched; part of our party received soda in large cups, some In medium cups. In addition, refills did not match the previous cup size. A member of the party got rootbeer in a medium cup, then it was refilled into a large. (?) Hella uncomfortable chairs, making the long wait for food and drink even worse (we were part of a party so we were sitting even longer, during speeches I had to stand because my back ached) Waiters and waitresses looked as confused as we were lol Past all that, the food was...

This was our first time attending The Hangar. We had booked this venue for our holiday party. From the start it was quite disorganized, Our server was friendly but didn't seem to know what was booked. We were asked once about drinks and then not again. Unfortunately, drinks were slow to arrive and our server disappeared and never checked on us.

We had to ask for water and then the pre-ordered appetizers never arrived. The meal though itself was yummy. The salads were fantastic. Sadly, our server never told us what kind of pizza there was. We had to guess. A few of the people found the sausage on the ice pizza too spicy. We were also supposed to have a tournament set up and ready to go for us at arrival but we did not unfortunately but that later was sorted..

All and all it was a fun...
