We visited this restaurant for the sixth time yesterday, still giving a chance for the best, it’s a pity that yesterday I decided to leave my phone at home to just relax with my family without any food photography, so three times out of six visits it was cooked normally, but three times out of six visits it was terrible. The first time the male waiter was rude and sullen, we waited for a very long time, the meat in two portions was disgusting, impossible to chew, they took the full payment. The second time, having come for lunch, we ordered a large rib with fries, my husband had normal, but mine was impossible not only to chew, but even to cut, the meat was so tough and veiny. When it was time to pay, the waitress asked if we wanted to take it with us? We said no, it was impossible to eat, she apologized and said, oh, why didn’t you say that, we would have replaced it, but we didn’t know that was possible, in the end the manager came and took payment only for one portion, for which we thank her. And here is the third unsuccessful time, yesterday at 9 pm, which of course we did a big stupid thing, it would have been better and more honest on their part to say that they are closing soon and will not have time to cook so that you do not choke on food quickly, to have time to get out of here before closing. Do not go there even two hours before closing, they will bring you not fresh. BUT having accepted the order in 20 minutes, we waited another 20 minutes when they brought the food, and I want to swear, everything is cold, meat, shrimp, ribs, fries in general they brought standing cold and not fresh, my husband's was also cold, only my daughter's burger was barely warm, the youngest's pasta was also barely warm, the cheese on top was a hard layer, I told mine to take away, but they warmed it up for me, and the fries were replaced with fresh hot ones. My husband and daughter did not eat their fries, does this mean you pay money to bring stale food, maybe it will work out? Partially yes, it worked, my husband does not like to quarrel, even leaves a tip, because it is not the waiter's fault that they push things from the kitchen. I have long wanted to write a review but delayed, but yesterday was the peak of patience. We will never go to Regent Montana again! Photo I did just one time, and I really regret that I didn't do this every time...
Read moreFor the most part the evening was great, good food and great time with friends. The overall service was good, our waiter Raj came around and checked on us a few times. Made sure we hade what we ordered and everything tasted good. Then unfortunately it was time to pay the bill. Each couple paid their bill with no issues. 2 minutes later our waiter Raj returns and thanks everyone and says he would like to do something for us and pulls out free appetizer cards and tells us that he would like to gives us the cards, but before they could be used a 5 second survey needed to be completed and it had to say his name to activate the cards. We thanked him and were about to leave but he told us the surveys needed to be completed right then and he would stand there and walk us (watch) complete them and then verify each survey was completed on line. It ruined our evening out, it felt way to pushy and almost harassing. I have filled dozens and dozens of surveys out, ot to receive a thing but because, it normally van help the company, service or person I was dealing with continue to succeed but also to help the consumers of that product. I can tell you, that because of that 4 minute experience at the end of the dinner, right as we were about to leave, has made all of us never want to go back to Montana's on Regent, I am very sorry to the other servers, chefs and cooks, bartenders and managers that go above and beyond to make people's time their a good one. Our's was great until it felt like we were being pressured and almost harassed to fill out a survey right then and "Make sure Raj's name was included". When I would have completed a survey regardless once it popped up on my...
Read moreWent for my sons birthday. Had server Ava. Had a really good service from her. No complaints, just keep being a great server.
The atmosphere was pretty decent besides someone in the kitchen making really loud random noises. It was a bit unprofessional and distracting from the dining experience.
As for the food, oh the food. The spinach dip was great to start this section off. Unfortunately that's about the only thing that was probably on point. I had the Mac n cheese, it tasted alright but the cook didn't cook all the alcohol out of the homemade cheese sauce so it still had that alcohol taste in it which was odd. The salad my mom ordered had no flavor at all which was disappointing, and last but not least, my coffee. The coffee was strong which I prefer, bit it kinda tasted like crap. Also, I had asked for milk for my coffee not once but twice. The first time I put milk in my coffee I had milk that was moldy and they had to replace my coffee. Went they brought the new one we inspected the little milks and to find yet again, I was given another moldy milk. I was quite disappointed no one is regulating the dairy product. Makes you wonder what else they aren't regulating. We told the manager and she had nothing to say about it besides saying my coffee would be comped. So I'm pretty disappointed in the managers reaction to the issue on the situation and was pretty disgusted and annoyed on getting moldy milk twice. Not even sour milk, this was straight up solid lumpy, moldy milk. So sad to see another really good eating establishment go down the toilet. Can say probably won't go back...
