I’ve had 3 bad experiences with visions, let me tell you these salesman push very hard here and manipulate to try get the most money out of you. It may seems like a good deal but it’s likely not. 1st expierance) the guy in the car department was pushing an extensive price on my father very hard who knew little about the industry. He was very pushy and didn’t know how to take “no” for an answer as my Dad probably said it 5 times. 2nd expierance) The assiant manager “pulled some strings” for me and sold me a TV for $350 telling me it was a very good deal. I was super estactic as the business man was also relating to me as I was young person. However when I checked the website the TV was $250. So he ripped me off to get a sales commission. So I tried to return it and I probably had to talk to 6 guys about returning this. I then saw the manager with a group of employees laughing about me as I struggled to return the product even though it states you can return within 30 days. 3rd expierance) This was probably the worst one. I had an installation date for my car deck I had just purchased. So I went in for the appointment and turns out I didn’t have the two pieces of plastic I needed for the deck to sit properly in my car! They didn’t have it ready even though it was the installation date and I had already pre paid for the install which was $100+ dollars. So the guy then grabbed the two little pieces of plastic from the back and said “these are the last ones, it’s your lucky day!” I was thankful they had it. Then the guy charged me $60 for the plastic. At the time I thought prices were flat so I paid the money. The guy took total advantage of me, and if I didn’t pay it I wouldn’t have got my deck installed and would’ve lost the installation money! Another instance of Visions taking advantage of customers. Even when I walk through their store I notice the salesman all over their customers, pushing super hard for warranties and overpriced things on customers with little or none knowledge. I would not recommend shopping here mainly because of their unethical way of selling products. The only way those guys think is to get extra commission money from their customers. If you think you got a good price, I can guarantee their is much better...
Read moreI'm thrilled to write this review! Come on in to the store and expect exceptional service. My wife and I came in a couple of days ago from out of town to try to build the start of a home theater Jesse and Aaron made this experience the best it could ever be. After a rocky start at a different store we were so happy to be looked after by Jesse. As a salesman he was professional and wanted to try to work with us and show us all the options. Jesse, took time to figure out what we were looking for and walked through though things slowly with us. This helped because we could determine what we need for our budget. I did weeks if research but nothing compares to the knowledge of visions staff with years if hands on experience. The deals we were offered were amazing and Jesse was able to seemingly always find more savings or sweetemen the deal until we're we happy within our budget with a real awesome future proof equipment home theater that I'm extend to get fully set up
On to of all of the amazing treatment in store Jesse has personally been looking after us and has been personally available to help is or starting into a new hobby. Living in a small town i haven't had a lot of people to get advice or tips, but Jesse was willing to take some time to help me get over some hurdles will let setting up my forget surround sound system. One of the things visions, and particular Jesse did for us was help making a final choice on a nice new bleeding edge Denon AVR-X4700h. Then because we are from out of town they pulled some strings to shoulder one same say make it so we could walk out with one that day. This was a huge benefit, saved us time and money coming back just for that. They went above and beyond to source it even before they have gotten their full shipment in. Over all I was thoroughly surprised by the dedication and care that's taken at this location. I left feeling as though I was taken care of rather then sold a product and I can't wait for the next time I get to visit. I'll definitely be taking all my AV and electronics to these guys in the future just as...
Read moreI have horrible experience with Visions. I bought a laptop on Dec 11, which cost me $1848. At that time they told me if its on sale on Boxing day, I can price match it. I kept looking for boxing day prices. Today (Boxing Day) its price is $1598 makes it $250 off. I went to adjust the price on Visions electronics at Regent Avenue, MB, where i initially bought it. They told me they can not do it and I have to call their head office in Calgary, Alberta. I called them and wrote my name and phone number. Then i got a call from customer service ad they told me that This model has been discontinued and to get rid of this model they are selling at lower price ($1598, Which is still expensive). Then i asked him to adjust my price. They said its their rule if a model is discontinued they do not adjust the price. I asked if it is discontinued does the product changes. I am still within 15 days of my price protection. Then he said Best Buy is doing the same thing. He was just manipulating. I think he was trying to tell me that I should have gone to Best Buy or Best Buy is better than Visions. I told him I was very disappointed. Now I have questions I was within my 15 days of my Price protection then why did not they adjust the price. When I bought this salesperson told me I can adjust the price within 15 days but he did not mention that if it is discontinued I can not do it, Even the receipt does not mention anything like that. Who is at fault here?
I am very disappointed and frustrated. I am never going back. For everyone out there trying to buy something let me tell you that they have this rule of not adjusting the price even if you are within 15 days and they are not telling anyone. I will also forward this to better...
