At first the experience was good, we had a 5 hour wait for our bus from Winnipeg to Saskatoon. We couldn’t dine in due to not being vaccinated (totally fine), the first woman I spoke to was so nice and helpful. We ordered some food and drinks and used the wifi to see where we could go for 5 hours while we wait. We leave to eat and come back at 11pm, our bus is scheduled to leave at 11:15pm. We look around for the bus and can’t find it. We go inside to use the wifi to check for the phone number for the bus company so we can call and ask if the bus is going to be late and I guess the employees changed. The new woman doesn’t even ask if I want to order anything, she just asks for id and proof of vaccination right away. I try explaining to her that we were suppose to get on the bus from that exact address and we’re just trying to figure out where it’s supposed to pick us up from. She is incredibly rude and doesn’t care about anything I say nor does she show any consideration for what’s going on. She doesn’t listen or act professional in any manner or have any consideration for the fact that it’s 11pm and literally feels like -28. She just says you have to leave and I ask if I can order take out and her reply is you have 5 mins to order and go. So I go back outside to check for the bus and nothing, so I go back inside to order something in case the bus is late, so we can be inside for 5 mins. While I’m dialing to see if the bus is on time, I see it leaving. It’s 11:09pm. We circle around the building a bit, looking for a sign saying where we should’ve waited for the bus because I asked several people and employees and no one I spoke to knew. I had no wifi no data and no where to go and it’s going onto 11:30pm at night and I don’t know the area at all and I can’t even go inside to check where a motel is? because one of your employees won’t listen to a PAYING customer. Super horrible customer service, I will be contacting headquarters tomorrow morning since it took me until 1am just to find a place to sleep and I had to ask complete strangers just to help me find a hotel so I wouldn’t be stranded in Winnipeg, in the middle of the night, in the middle of winter. Absolutely horribly inhumane way to treat people. I never asked to dine in! You shouldn’t leave people stranded in the cold with no way of finding shelter!...
Read moreI had the worst experience at this location. I ordered three items through the kiosk, only to be told later that one of the items wasn't available. I requested a refund, but the process was extremely frustrating. I waited at the front for 15 minutes just to get the refund. When the staff finally processed it, I placed my card to receive the refund, but instead of being refunded, I was charged again.
I immediately pointed this out to the counter person, who told me that the refund might show up by the next day. Trusting their word, I waited until the following day and returned to resolve the issue. However, things only got worse.
When I explained the situation to one of the staff members, she claimed that the receipt showed the refund had already been issued and said there was nothing she could do. The whole problem was that while the receipt said "refunded," I never actually received the money. I tried explaining this, but she was dismissive, gave excuses like "I wasn’t working yesterday," and spoke to me very rudely.
When I stayed calm and asked her what I should do, instead of providing a solution, she accused me of not letting her speak (even though I was silent and waiting for her response). She then went on to rant and made no effort to help resolve the issue.
It’s incredibly frustrating that I had to waste so much time dealing with their mistakes, only to receive no proper resolution. This experience was completely unprofessional and...
Read moreI felt that the server wasn't hearing me out at first, I spoke with overly-enunciated diction and louder voice than is normal for me. (People tend to complain my voice is too quiet, soft and I don't articulate very well.) All I did was tell her my order and she accused me of speaking to her rudely. I didn't berate, swear, shout nor insult her in any way. I just told her I wanted a candy cane hot chocolate. Then a regular one with whipped cream, as they didn't have crushed candy cane anymore, which is fine, and a peach quencher with a baker's choice donut. That's it. I just wanted to make sure she heard me through the Plexiglas. She proceeded to keep telling me I didn't have to speak to her the way I was. I told her I always have to repeat myself and I didn't want to have to repeat myself. I used to work for Tim Hortons, so I know the tight time constraints on orders they have and thought it would be helpful to ensure she heard right with no doubts. Of all the real abusive behaviour Timmies employees endure, clarity and diction should be off the radar on what they deem a problem. I went to get another order, this time just using my normal voice and it became a thing of having to repeat and point to the donut I wanted, thus proving my point of speaking more clearly. In the end the order was correct and the...
