This place is experiencing a very common problem. It's called "Prioritizing Skip" where they seem to focus all their efforts on their Skip-the-Dishes orders and forget they have paying customers in the restaurant. When we came in, there were two or three other tables taken, when we left, there was only one other table occupied. At no point did the restaurant get more busy than three tables. We ordered a combo and some other stuff. We received the sushi first. I have never before received the sushi before the Miso soup and the appetizers (Tempura, Edamame, Takoyaki, etc.). I ordered a marble Soda and was told the flavor I chose was out of stock so I chose a different flavor. We decided to wait for the rest before eating. It took around 20 minutes of waiting before I got up and reminded the server of the extra food we had... SHE HAD NO IDEA!!! Did she even read our order sheets? Then we had to wait 20 more minutes until the food arrived... How long does it take to pour 4 bowls of miso soup? Still no Soda at this point... So I came up to her again and reminded her of the soda... She again had no idea and blamed her coworker (the server that told me my chosen flavor wasn't in stock) for not telling her there was a marble soda on the order sheet. Pretty unprofessional, if you ask me. 10 minutes later, finally got the soda... Then, a friend of mine realized she didn't get a special roll she ordered so she got up to remind the server. Again, the server had no clue and another 15-20 minutes later we finally got the final roll... When we were paying, I suddenly realized that my friend didn't get the dessert she ordered! I mean, come on... My friend declined to have the dessert because it was getting ridiculous and we paid and got out of there. I have never gotten up so many times to speak to the server during a visit to any restaurant ever! All throughout our visit the Skip guys were coming in and out. I honestly can't even remember if the food was good because I spent so much time chasing the server down instead of just enjoying it but I know it wasn't bad because I don't have any negative memories from it but if you want to try the food for yourself maybe order through Skip and skip the restaurant experience... Oh, and this was on a Saturday evening, btw. A time when they should've been on their game! Saaaad... EDIT: Forgot to add, only had 3 place settings at the table, had to ask 2 times for 2 extra place settings and a fork......

Edit: Going to preface my review debunking some things for the restaurant but it seems for naught as they have been closed for over a month and the phone line is disconnected. I've not once had any issue with it being too hot or smelling bad - ever; And I used to go once a week. The tables are sticky not because of cleanliness issues but because of the sealant on the table. Every single table is like that in the restaurant. And for the people complaining on prices... It's sushi.. I have a feeling that these are the same people that would be outraged at the price of Beef Wellington or something. It's very on par for price if not better.
Long time and frequent customer of this establishment. The food is very good for what you pay for. I have only been here for AYCE at lunch and the prices a couple years ago was fantastic ($11.99). Since then, the prices have rolled up a bit and things disappeared from the menu but they now have more deep fried rolls, which are great. (Order the Osaka Fries, you won't regret it)
Service in the past was absolutely horrendous. A large party used to pre order every single week upon opening and you'd sit there waiting for an hour even though you were in first. The waitresses sucked as well. You'd be the only one in the establishment, with an empty cup of water and the waitress would be playing Candy Crush or something. They went through waitresses like toilet paper. Lately though, there is a waiter that is usually there and he is phenomenal. Always running around to take care of you.
Prices went up and some menu items went away (RIP Cold Soba...) but it is very tasty (especially when comparing it to that garbage Magic Sushi across the street) and the current waiter/co-owner is a beast. Try the AYCE...
Read moreThe experienced is horrible at best. It's 15 degrees outside. The place is super hot and VEEERY humid. It's an uncomfortable feeling throughout the time we were here. The humidity made our skin sticky and greesy. The tables look clean but we're sticky to touch. The store stank. It smelled like propane gas mixed with fishy smell. It was so unbearable that I could not get used to. Apparently the fan isn't functioning. The single chairs are mostly ripped apart. The place has potentials but needs to have a properly functioning A/C and vent that circulates the air and purifies it. We ultimately moved to the other end of the store and the table was still sticky, the smell still present, but slightly some more mobile air -although still hot.
The old lady.....certainly not professional in any way, shape, or form. If you complain, she will scold you and speak to you aggressively and make you feel like a fool. Super rude. Yells at you. Disgusting manners.
The sushi.....it was ok. Not that bad. But certainly waaaaaay over priced. It's got little inner fillers (1-2 items), and not crafted well so I'm not sure why it cost so much. The sauce is good but too much of it used. The rolls are small too.
Sashimi....salmon = excellents, the rest was moderate. Crab = very bad
Recommendations:
Turn on the AC. Your place is humid and the spicy food makes it feel even hotter. I suggest a temp of 67 Ventilate the store VERRRY well Invest in a super heavy duty kitchen fan that will suck smell out Make sure your tables aren't sticky. Use a proper wood cleanser instead of windex or multipurpose. Use a new table cloth. Ban the old lady from communicating...
