Pizza Depot — Restaurant in Winnipeg

We ordered three pizzas last night and were extremely disappointed with the entire experience. The crust was clearly a frozen, premade base – it had the same taste and texture you’d expect from a microwave pizza served in a canteen or kids play center. I also ordered thin crust for one, there was no difference in the crusts. Both chewy, doughy and tasted like a frozen pizza from the grocery store.

I ordered a ham, pineapple, and feta pizza, but the feta seemed to have been added as an afterthought – cold, grated, and scattered on top after baking. It was both confusing and unappetizing. The other toppings across all three pizzas were equally underwhelming and lacked freshness or flavor.

To make matters worse, the pizzas were cold when we picked them up. We have four kids at home and usually pizza nights mean empty boxes within minutes. This time, everyone took a slice and didn’t go back for more. We’re left with more than a pizza and a half uneaten – that’s never happened before.

Overall, this was a terrible experience. We won’t be ordering again and can’t recommend this...

Never order from here, multiple reviews mention an online order with confirmation never received and that the restaurant/owner doesn't care, which I can confirm. I showed up for pickup for an order they never received and they didn't really seem to care. No offer to do anything, not even the suggestion of making my pizza now. Reading some 5-star reviews also reek of being written by friends and family, take most of them with a grain of salt.

I told them I still want my order, and they told me I had to wait, I said okay, and they told me I shouldn't wait and didn't seem to want me to even order anymore. Awful service, staff called the owner and while on the phone, said to do nothing for me.

Lots of other local spots around, avoid this one. Maybe something decent will open in its place once it closes, as I can't imagine a pizza place that can't be bothered to take orders for pizza will be around for very long. That said, I haven't had their pizza, I'm sure it's as abysmal as...

Placed an order through the website and went down to pick it up, the order was not done and they apparently never got it, so I had to order it again and had to wait, I requested extra sauce on one of the pizzas and because I never saw it show up on the pos I mentioned it again he confirmed and I proceed with ordering my second pizza after I finished paying he reviewed the order and didn't mention the extra sauce so I mentioned once more, both pizzas looked good, however both were dry the one with extra sauce didn't have extra sauce of course and was dry toppings were bland, second pizza had the bbq sauce mixed, also dry and you couldn't tell it was bbq sauce, I will say however I enjoyed the crispy crust, the hot sausage and Banana peppers were spicy and delicious Pineapple was alright.
