Pizza Hotline — Restaurant in Winnipeg

My first order was on Oct. 1, 2020 at 5:00pm for my dad's birthday meal at work. I have it ordered via Deliver-Eats since their online ordering website does not work (still does not work right now). I got the online deal, 4XL pizza with 2 toppings your choice, for 47 CAD having it ordered the day prior so the staffs have time to prepare for it.

Oct 1st came and I checked the tracking but it does not work. At 4:30 pm, I called the branch to confirm the order since I'm getting anxious already thinking since there's no tracking the order didn't go through but we're already charged. I got into the phone and the lady helping me is very nice and patient. Order was confirmed and ready to go. I texted my dad to confirm if they got the pizza alright and yes they did. They're happy so I didn't mind the anxiety of the first order experience.

Today, Oct 15, 2020. At 11 AM, my dad asked me to order again the same set to deliver at 5:15 PM. I placed the order, didn't look at the tracking because it's useless. 2:00 PM came and the order we placed is still pending, didn't receive any confirmation email at all. I contacted them for confirmation. It took some time for the lady to confirm the order but it's there. She apologized for the inconvenience which I don't mind as long as we'll get the pizza then. Right after the call, we received the confirmation email. All good. I'm happy.

After 5 or 6 minutes, my dad received a call. They have the pizza deliver to the workplace already! I'm so very disappointed. The delivery time is supposed to be 5:15 PM. They took the pizza back and will have it deliver again later at 5:15 PM. Here's to hoping it's still hot and fresh pizza but I doubt it...

Poor service and lack attention to details. The problem might be from Deliver-Eats because it's their app but Pizza Hotline is using their service. They chose to partner with them and this didn't only happen once to me. Didn't I mentioned Pizza Hotline's website for online ordering is not working? Yeah... I'm not happy with...

My relatives and I have been ordering from pizza Hotline for more than 20 years. And they always came in pretty handy when it came to big family get togethers because of the good price and taste. I had no complaints when I lived in the maples but since I moved into fort Richmond area I have nothing but problems with the customer service and it’s all due to language barriers at the pembina Killarney location. And customers always right does not apply to these guys. What happened was my family I were coming back from swimming and we’re to tired to cook so we decided to drop by and pick up some pizza. I went in told the guy my order and I said to wait for me I have confirm with my wife outside in the car. My wife said everything is fine except instead of spinach get banana peppers. Ok I go inside now there is a different guy on the till taking orders and I told him of the change and this guy didn’t really speak English and was confused so the guy who took my order before told him in Cantonese which order it was I told them of the change at least 4 times and thought they got it. So when I got to the car I saw spinach on there. My wife went and explained we did not want spinach and the guy did not understand he said it is spinach and then when he finally got it he said with an attitude it will be another half hour. So we took the refund and left and placed a complain when we got home and all they gave was a $5 credit for next time. $5 for all that waiting waste of time and for hungry and disappointed children. Don’t know if I’ll even use the $5 credit or even deal with these guys ever again it’s happened so many times before but today it was a major let down. Next time Gotta go with good ole...

Wow. I ordered four pizzas yesterday. I gave special instructions for thr pizza to be delivered at 5pm. It was my daughter's birthday. The pizza came right on time and the delivery guy was polite. When all my daughters guest started to eat they said the pizzas we all dry. I inspected the four pizza and found that none of them has any sauce. One of the pizzas ordered was a bbq sauce and bbq chicken and onions. No bbq sauce,and no pizza sauce on any. The other topping were ok but also tasted dry. Luckily my wife thought fast and added sauce and rebaked a couple of them. Will never order from here again. Threre debit machine forces you to fork...
