After a long day at work I decided to stop in and get some pizza for the family and had gotten a side of garlic dipping sauce. They forgot to give me the dipping sauce I had paid for. Upon arrival at home my wife asked where it was. I said I don't know probably in the box and we checked and it wasnt. I tried to call the location back and was put through to the customer service in hamilton ontario. The rep kept pushing he only had 2 option. That I could drive back 45 min back into Winnipeg (I explained I lived outside the perimeter where there are no pizza pizza franchises) and get a free sauce. I said that's out of the question because it is not practical. Then he kept saying he can give me a 2 dollar credit to which I would have to call them back when I would want to cash it in. I explained I'm not in the city often and dont order my pizza on the phone and always do a walk in order. This process is not convenient and the added step is not solving the problem. In addition he kept cutting me off as if he was just reading a script. I explained to him at this point. I do not even care about the garlic sauce or compensation but pizza pizza is not willing to solve a problem and take care of their customer. He then asked if I'm willing to speak with a supervisor. I was willing to wait. As I was waiting and listening to elevator music I could hear someone tapping on keys possibly listening in silence hoping I'd hang up. Then a supervisor came on. I spoke to her and she asked me what the issue was. I then responded in surprise was she not appraised of the situation prior to coming on the call to which she advised she had notes and was aware. She too seems to be reading from a script. I suggested why not mail out something like this for people in this type scenario to increase customer satisfaction/loyalty and or think outside the box because at this point having to spend over 30 min on the phone and expressing I'm not interested in compensation and am developing sour taste in my mouth for this franchises pizza and I dont even want to eat it any more and will be discarding it in the trash because of poor customer service and constantly being talked over. Having worked in front line customer service before when a situation like this arises it's an opportunity to make things right and an opportunity to make someone a raving fan. Instead and I told the supervisor that I was extremely disappointed in her inaction to provide a satisfactory solution where a .89 cent fumble has cost them a a customer. But more then just that it was how the poor customer service was handled post initial fumble. I tried to post this in their feedback/survey but they have a limit on their characters so in the comment section I simply told them to reference google since google is more than willing to put the money in infrastructure in IT to deal with their customer service capabilities. Severely disappointed in pizza pizza in regards to 3 point...
Read moreI recently had the pleasure of visiting Pizza Pizza, and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish! As soon as I walked in, I was welcomed by the friendly staff and the enticing aroma of freshly baked pizza. The restaurant has a casual, inviting atmosphere that makes you feel right at home.
The menu at Pizza Pizza is impressive, offering a wide variety of options, from classic cheese and pepperoni to unique specialty pizzas. They even have options for those with dietary restrictions, like gluten-free crusts and vegan cheese. I decided to try their signature pizza, topped with fresh ingredients and bursting with flavor. The crust was perfectly crispy, and the cheese was gooey and delicious.
What stood out to me was the quick service. Even during a busy lunch hour, my pizza was ready in no time. The staff was attentive and made sure I had everything I needed, from napkins to extra toppings.
Another highlight was the cleanliness of the restaurant. The dining area was well-maintained, and it was clear that the staff takes pride in providing a clean and pleasant environment for customers.
Overall, my experience at Pizza Pizza was top-notch. The combination of great food, friendly service, and a welcoming atmosphere made it a memorable outing. Whether you’re grabbing a slice on the go or sitting down for a meal with friends, Pizza Pizza is definitely...
Read moreDon’t ever give this guys another chance. I don’t think the owners care about their customers who are the main reason they are open still. Gave them 4th chance and still the pizza comes home incorrect. Today I went in and place an pick up order and asked specifically for Tandoori Sauce on Base and told that I have had issues before of not adding tandoori sauce on my pizza even after requesting them to add. Today Still there is no Tandoori Sauce in base. They charged $2 for it and not mentioned on the invoice that it is being charged for Tandoori Sauce. I have been to many pizza pizza before and they have not charged a penny for it. If they charge it is not a problem but it has to be on the receipt. SCAM The girl working has no sense of customer service and give you a sharp eye as if I owe her something. I have seen past reviews and I think owner is been giving same review responses to everyone. Let’s see what he has to say on this one. Bad Customer Service/Incorrect Pizza/bad...
