Read moreThis place is not what it used to be, it was once my go to and I would stop in a couple times a week. I miss the old owners. Since they’ve been gone I have grabbed food here a handful of times (the food isn’t what it used to be) and 4 out of the 5 times I watched people prepare food with used gloves that they had set aside instead of simply grabbing a new pair of gloves from the box that is right beside the area where they prepare the food. A woman took my payment (cash) and proceeded to try prepare my food with the same gloves she had on while taking my payment. I kindly asked if she could put a new pair on before preparing my food and she was visibly upset that I asked. Rolled her eyes and all. Today the same thing happened where the man put a used pair of gloves on that again, he had set aside to reuse. I have never seen any of these new folks that work here wash their hands. Not once. Hand hygiene is so important when preparing food. Why is it so hard to simply wash your hands or at least use new gloves when preparing food/stop wearing the same gloves that you wear when taking payment to prepare food. If that’s how you are in front of customers, I can’t imagine what other unsanitary stuff goes on. Now if this was a one time issue I would not be writing this review but unfortunately I will not be back as it seems to be the...
Read moreTried Green And Grain for the first time this evening and will never order from them. Ordered through Skip The Dishes, ordered and paid for extra cheese on a taco salad and received no cheese, paid for jalapenos and received no jalapenos, salsa was to be included with the salad and wasn't, the beef seemed to be some terrible meat substitute and the salad was very small for its $11 price tag. Other order was some buffalo chicken baked something or other for around $10, it was so small, greek salad for nearly $10 was tiny with hardly any feta. Called and asked for management, figured they should really know why a customer would order and never order again, was advised that there was no management on duty, maybe someone could call em tomorrow without any immediate concern about why I was calling. I'm $40 lighter in my wallet and still hungry, and...
