Saucers Cafe — Restaurant in Winnipeg

I have previously enjoyed the food and friendly staff however their policy for no dogs on patio will mean we will no longer patronize Saucers.

Update: given the great food and staff out-weighing the No dog policy I have upped my review to 4 stars but the reply comment about unfairly judging on the no dog policy alone is a red herring, I gave 3 stars (could have been 1) based on previous experience but not being inclusive is why I rated what I rated.

Update update: I revived an email responding to my review indicating that Saucers management is changing their policy on dogs on patio however (allowing dogs) this was deleted and now left with a follow up response as shown below. I’m baffled by your confusing messaging saucers, so no to dogs on patio, then back to 3 stars. Thanks. I will await update-update...

This restaurant does not even deserve 0 star. I work for skip and they don’t know how to work. Restaurant give good service to only those who give them good tips. Staff do not know how to work and manage their time. Have to wait for more than 40 minutes after the pickup time provided by the restaurant. People who do private deliveries do not get paid per hour. Accepting order from this restaurant mean ruining your day and stay angry all day. This is my third experience and nothing changed. People do not give their manager’s contact. Came for their Le burger week (dessert) burger. It looked and sounded really neat. Unfortunately the great sounding ingredients made for a really terrible combination.

I found the parking challenging. I found the cashier rude; I was an inconvenience - just another le burger week order. I think she turned to her colleague and said something like "I need another one." I did not feel welcome.

I may eventually come back, and try your suggestion, unfortunately I drove 20 minutes to try this, and that had an impact...
