Disappointing Decline at Joey's Polo Park It's truly unfortunate to see a place we've frequented since its opening go so downhill. Joey's Polo Park seems to constantly try reinventing itself, yet the quality consistently declines. My Joey's cheeseburger yesterday was honestly one of the worst burgers I've ever had. The onion aioli was so overpowering it completely masked the meat – it tasted like a strange mix of onion soup, sour cream, and mayo, more like a chip dip than a burger topping. The only redeeming part of the meal was the french fries. For an appetizer, we ordered the mini steak sandwiches, which were embarrassingly small with just two thin slices of beef. I'm not sure what Joey's is trying to achieve with these portions. Even the bellinis, which used to be served in proper cocktail glasses, are now served in what looked like water glasses. To make matters worse, when I used the washroom around 5:00 PM, the mirror was covered in grime – I don't even want to guess what it was. It looked like a dingy bathroom, definitely not what I'd expect from Joey's standards. When the best things about your meal are the bellini and the french fries, it's hard to justify returning, especially with how overpriced the food felt this time around. I truly hope they can work things out and get back on track, but Joey's Polo Park really needs a lot of work. Please do better.

We had a graduation party at Joey’s and all the staff involved at the restaurant were outstanding in their jobs. To begin with Kristine, the event manager, she was very helpful throughout the whole scheduling and planning process. Kristine went above and beyond to make our event a reality. She was very open, informative and easy to communicate with. We were a bit late in booking for the venue, but she was helpful in the whole process, she informed us about the resources available and gave us the best available help she could give. Kristine showed a great deal of flexibility and she tried to accommodate our needs as best as she could. During the party, members at the front desk were friendly and happy to see us. We went to the sun room (where we had our party) and met with Julia at the counter who was very nice and friendly and great at her job. Then throughout the party we were with Mandeep our server for that day who was AWESOME. At the end of the party, all of my guests were so happy with the service, the food was delicious and we all gave hugs to Mandeep for her great service and hospitality. I love how all the staff worked as a team to make our day a memorable one. I will definitely recommend Joey’s PoloPark for a party/a visit to all my friends. Thanks to Kristine, Mandeep, Julia and all the staff involved!!

This restaurant has been a constant in my life for the past 25 years. One great attribute about this chain is their consistency in terms of food but the service is always a hit and miss. Our server was stoic but efficient. We ordered: Cocktail - Caesar $6.25 - 9/10 Peach Bellini - $7 - 10/10 *** Hand-Pressed Burger/ all the groceries, Certified Angus Beef® , added mushroom cheddar bacon. Served with Truffle Parmesan Fried. $19.75 plus $3.25 for the mushroom cheddar bacon. This burger was exceptional. 10/10! The Truffle Parmesan Fries was served with grainy mustard aioli. 10/10! *** Szechuan Chicken Lettuce Wraps/ sweet soy ginger glaze, peanuts, crispy wontons, spicy aioli. $22.25. One of my favourite dishes here. Spicy, crunchy, seasoned-well. The spicy aioli was really not necessary and the Szechuan Chicken was perfect on its own. My only complaint was the stingy serving of iceberg lettuce. 10/10! Another great dinner!

I rarely right reviews but Christina went so above and beyond here I am! From the moment we were greeted by Christina, it was clear we were in for an exceptional experience. Her warm smile and friendly energy immediately made us feel welcome, and she struck the perfect balance between professionalism and genuine hospitality. She took the time to introduce herself, explain the menu in detail, and even asked questions to get a sense of our preferences, which led to spot-on recommendations that made our meal unforgettable.

What truly stood out about Christina was her remarkable attention to detail and awareness throughout the evening. Without hovering, she always seemed to appear just when we needed something whether it was a drink refill, a quick check-in on our meal, or help navigating the menu. She had a calm, confident presence that made everything flow smoothly, even though the restaurant was clearly busy. Not once did we feel rushed or overlooked; in fact, quite the opposit, she made us feel like we were her top priority.

Christina also went out of her way to add personal touches that elevated our night far beyond our expectations. When she overheard us mention we were celebrating a special occasion, she surprised us with a beautifully presented dessert, complete with a kind handwritten note from her about our celebration on the receipt. That level of thoughtfulness is rare and speaks volumes about her dedication to creating a meaningful experience for her guests. It was a small gesture that made a big impression.

In a world where great service is increasingly hard to come by, Christina is a true standout. Her passion for what she does, her natural ability to connect with people, and her unwavering commitment to excellence make her an absolute gem. If you're dining here and Christina is your server, consider yourself lucky you’re in the hands of someone who genuinely cares and goes above and beyond in every way. We will absolutely be returning, and we’ll be asking...
