I had the most distasteful exchange with a barista named Selena today. I asked for a top up of sweet cream cold foam as there was a huge amount of space left between the drink and lid. When I ask for ‘extra sweet cream cold foam’ I expect it to be full. I asked politely to get it topped up and she stared at me, irritated, like I was asking for a huge favour. She then sternly told me ‘you ordered it upside down, the foam is on the bottom’. Which has never been the case in any of the drinks I’ve ordered… Regardless I said ‘no worries. Can I just get it on top too then?’. She rolled her eyes, sighed and proceeded to keep making other drinks and said ‘then you’re going to have to wait’. Again, lightheartedly I apologized for being picky and she didn’t even respond or look at me. When she got around to topping up my drink, she muttered under her breath and I said ‘what?’ And she said ‘I NEED YOU TO TAKE OFF THE LIDS’ in the most irritated and demanding tone. Once I said thank you, she also didn’t even reply.

THE WORST barista I have ever encountered with a horrible attitude. I walked in politely to get them topped up and she was talking to me as if I threw them back across the counter at her. Selena needs a lesson in customer service...

I hate the new renos. Not sure the reason as to why they removed the seating area but it really took away the Cafe feel. Now you can only stand against the wall and wait for your order since there's only a narrow walkway from the door. People stand in front of you because there's no space for customers to wait inside. Still waiting to see if they'll put tables outside this summer. Would be nice. Also last few times I tried ordering via mobile app at this location they're out of all the refreshers (to be fair there was a b1g1 for refreshers, but still maybe prepare for that??) So missed out on points I planned to earn and wasn't able to order mobile last time for some reason. But when I do order here it's usually very friendly staff and It's exactly what I ordered, only exception was one time idk if they put rancid milk in or something, but it made me very sick not even halfway into the drink. Please watch the dates on important ingredients like...

Extremely disappointed in my last visit. Did a mobile order pickup and redeemed a free drink. The barista did not make my iced drink properly, it was supposed to have 3 shots of espresso, not 2 and I could tell by the appearance and taste it was only 2. I thought maybe he didn't see the sticker well and didn't realize it was supposed to have 3 so I asked is this 3 shots of espresso (thinking he might respond saying 'oh sorry, didn't realize it said triple') and he responded annoyed and said yes and walked off. He did not ask if it tasted okay and walked off to avoid me saying anything further. It tasted way too milky so I didn't drink it (free $6 drink wasted). On top of that, the bagel I ordered wasn't available so I got it refunded. Not sure why it didn't say out of stock when I ordered it. The guy who did the refund was nice. Just disappointed. I had to go elsewhere for my coffee and breakfast. Waste of time, free drink and left feeling super...
