Sushi Ai — Restaurant in Winnipeg

First time ordering sushi at Sushi Ai. The other sushi place we usually pick up from is closed on Sundays. We were pleasantly surprised by our order. We ordered their largest party platter with some veggie and yam tempura. The party platter had a good variety of rolls to choose from. It is actually better than the platter we get at the other sushi place. It would be good to know if you had an option of switching some rolls for other faves we would prefer. Next time. We were very happy with their tempura. The yam tempura is a fave and happy that it was a large portion. Food came packed neatly and looked as good as it tasted. We will order again and when Covid restrictions end have dine in experience. Small dining restaurant with lots of parking in front. The staff were friendly and informative...

One of our favourite go to sushi places in Winnipeg! Definitely bang for your buck in terms of quality and price, this place never disappoints and is always consistently good.

Visited Saturday for lunch, started off with shrimp tempura which is your average tempura nothing exceptional or bad about it, then had tuna and salmon sashimi which was good but would have preferred larger cuts of fish, then we had some fatty tuna, red tuna, salmon, fatty salmon and unagi nigiri which were all very good! They make very good sushi rice.

To finish things off we had a Maple roll which was good but the mango on it was a bit too tart for my taste. Overall Sushi Ai never fails to satisfy...

This is complaint for owners. Book a table ahead. Came in and got to reserved table. 20 min waiting asked for menu. Ok got the menu. Noone coming to offer water at least. Noone coming to take an order. Ok wait another 20 min. Noone coming at all. They r very bussy. Its valentines day ok. Then i just simply left with my family. So here is the thing if i am a mechanic i dont promis 20 oil changes in single hour. If i have no time im teling costomer this is how long u have to wait. Overhaul was very uncomfortable situation. GOOD LUCK WITH YOUR BUSINESS. and buy the way servent has to have appropriate close and talk nice. Prety sure they cook good but didnot have chance...
