Subway — Restaurant in Winnipeg

I have to give this location alone more then 5 stars. Went there with my Wife. It was a late Saturday night and there was two female employees working there. They were both friendly and pride in their work. But the amount of A-holes that go there that are drunk and just take whatever they want. As we sitting at a table enjoying our subs. Two drunk a-holes were ordering their subs and both female employees were trying their best to the understand the requests that two A-holes were making for their subs. While their bluetooth speaker was on playing I think it was music. After that while they arguing who pays for their subs. But after a few minutes one of them pays. And grab a table near us. So after that another drunk A-hole walks in and helps himself a couple bags of chips and walks out shorty after that. One of the female employee was yelling at him to pay for the chips. But he just ignore her. Then shortly after that a couple walks in and orders subs. Well the employee's get a male Karen and starts b!itching about how she was making his sub. And try's to get to make it the way he likes it to be made. We still have the other A-holes eating their subs with their music still playing. As the couple are paying one of the A-holes devices to get up and grab a couple of bags of chips. And said to friend "since I pay for subs I get some chips" then they both leave. These two employees have to put up with these type of people it's unfortunate. But they definitely take pride...

I've been to this location a couple of times now and this last time was the worst so far. While I was there they had 3 people working on sandwiches and 3 customers in line including myself. The first person was fine, they asked me what I wanted and got it started. The second couldn't tell who's sub was who's without being told. When it came time for them to dress my sub I made it easy for them saying I wanted everything with extra olives and they asked if I wanted olives after they put everything else on. When it was time for the sauce I said mayo and mustered and after the mayo they asked what else I wanted. At the end I said no to the salt and pepper and walked over to pay only to see them putting on a good amount of salt and pepper mix on my sub before packing it up. Finally the last person just stood at the cash register like that's all they knew how to do there and took my payment without saying much...

Further to the owners response to a previous review. He did not address the issue I had about cutting the bread off in the middle.

This takes away from the whole sandwich . Obviously he is trying to cut corners by applying less condiments and meat on the sandwich. This is not acceptable. What are uou doing with the pieces that you cut off ?

Yes prices have gone up but that does not mean scimp on the food. It's quite obvious to anyone what he's doing. Previous owners did not do this to their customers.
