I feel like the service from this specific location is hit or miss.
My friends and I came to this location a few weeks ago, the hostess sat us and gave us menus.
After 25 minutes of waiting for someone to acknowledge us and ask us for our drink order, there was a table seated directly beside us and had a waitress serve them within 2 minutes. We decided to wait a few more minutes but after 30 minutes of waiting we were obviously frustrated with the service and decided to just get up and leave.
We ended up going to the Windsor Park location where the service was 100x better. Within 2 minutes of being seated a waitress introduced herself and grabbed our drinks.
—— Last week we came back to this location and the service was mediocre. We were actually served but the waitress seemed as if she had better things to do with her time than look after us... it made me feel slightly uncomfortable. She seemed to just do the bare minimum she needed to get through her shift? I’m not even sure how to explain it lol
—— We again went back tonight and were seated by the hostess. A waitress then approached us and asked if we could move across the restaurant for “better service” because there was only “one waitress working”? We had no problem moving, she took our drink order and went to grab the drinks. After 10 minutes went by we had a completely separate waiter ask us for our drink order? We were slightly confused and told him we already placed our order. Throughout our dinner we had 2 different people serve us. One took our drink order, another tried to take our drink order but then took our menu order instead, another brought us our food, then the menu taker refilled our drinks, and then the original one who took the drink order got our bill. It was slightly odd but we did come around 10:30pm so I think they were trying to cover everyone in the restaurant the best they could with the little amount of staff working (even though there were a group of 4-5 of them standing around the bar the entire time)
I don’t know whats going on a this location but every time I go the service tends to change a lot. Between no service, to minimal service to an over load of...
Read moreSeems to be hit and miss. 1st time I tried the steak sandwich, it was good. The next time, I couldn't chew the meat it was so tough, so I sent it back and won't try it again. The ribs used to be good, but I tried them tonight, and they were terrible. The first bite was so burnt it left a bitter taste in my mouth. I tried to eat the rest of them, but they were way overcooked to the point they were dry. Caesar salad had the root end bits in it that made the salad very bitter. The wings were delicious, at least. Service wasn't good, I had to flag the server to get another drink after waiting a good 10mins and she never came back to check on how my meal was. Finally came around after 10 mins of my plate sitting on the edge of the table. Not like it was busy (maybe 15 percent full), so no excuse as far as I'm concerned. I didn't take pictures because the lighting is so dim I would've had to use my flash. I stay at this hotel often when I'm on transit for work. The Fiesta salad is usually good...
Read moreOmg what an awful experience. Our server (Brook I think was her name) said she was fairly knew, which I totally get. I have no problem being more patient while someone is still learning. What I have a problem with is someone that thinks it's acceptable to be rude to a customer. I told her I wanted a vegan quesidilla with the vegan chicken (which is on the menu) and she became rude and stand offish. Saying "chicken isn't vegan" and "cheese isn't vegan". Like yes honey, I know. I've been vegan for over 3 years, I know the difference between animal meat and a vegan mock meat option. Made me feel ridiculous and judged for what I wanted to order. After trying to explain to her that the vegan quesidilla is on the menu and I've had it here before, I gave up trying to explain what I wanted and settled for the Where's the beef burger. Anyways please teach your servers more about dietary restrictions before throwing them on the floor to make people feel ridiculous for their...
