What an awesome place for kids to play, it is definitely needed in this area! There is lots for the kids to do, including a massive ball pit and several slides. There are many structures to climb on and a small arcade in the back. The little cafe is very fairly priced. The staff are very outgoing and friendly, and the colour pallete is pleasant and inviting for the littles. The overall noise level can be quite high at times, but that is to be expected.
The floors need a little bit more work. There are seam lines (for vinyl flooring) that need to be trimmed. This seems like a very minor thing but there was already a few spots that it is pulling up. This will cause a tripping hazard as well as being more difficult to clean properly.
On the subject of cleanliness, I can only imagine this place will be very difficult to keep clean. If the staff can manage to keep it clean (maybe add some hand washing or sanitizing stations throughout), we will definitely be returning.
One thing I would like to see added is more change tables for the very small children. There is no change table in the men's washroom which is quite shocking. Also, using the washroom in socks is...an adventure.
As a side note, if you are thinking about coming here to play, and you or your little ones feel sick, please don't. It is unfair to others and quite rude, however that is not the...
Read moreThis playplace really takes it a step farther then others in the city. The set-up was really cool and a lot more accesable for young children and caregivers. The play area was also very clean with staff constantly wiping surfaces down.
My only complaint was the bathrooms. When you have potty training kids, bathroom cleanliness is a big deal. I was especially surprised because of how tentative staff were at cleaning the play area. The seating in the cafeteria area was also neglected. Most tables had garbage left on them when we tried to sit for a drink. There needs to be a better balance of cleaning priorities.
For the most part you are doing an amazing job wishlandia! Thanks for providing such a unique space for kids to play!
Smaller advice I have (because I want you to suceed) - Softer lighting and/or noise canceling techniques to absorb some of the sound. I understand these could be big upgrades and might not be a viable option right now. However, being in such a loud and bright environment gave me a pounding headache driving home. The sensory overload was a bit intense, even for a kids space. Some people might not notice, but anyone with sensory issues or in my case migranes, might not make it...
Read moreWent today and it was packed! Line ups out the door! We left and came back and the line was shorter and only had to wait abt 10 mins!
Lots of fun for the kids! My lil one played for almost 3 hours! The little arcade section is small claw machines for the kids $5 gets you 5 tokens, $10 gets you 12! No guarantee of any win, but the toys looked cool!
Cafe is very affordable! Sm coffee $1.50 and you get 1 free refill! Thats smart! Keep the parents caffeinated and theyll spend more haha! Chicken finger and fries $13 and tastes bomb! The fingwrs r crunchy, juicy, and a good size! I feel like they get them from Dals! They could also be dupes! Juice boxes are $2
Only complaint, is that I did not see anybody actively sanitizing any surfaces, they wers supwr busy and all hands on deck, but i hope they consider doing a deepl clean more frequently!
The "tea cup" ride is a lil dangerous, i saw many kids fall off it and smack their heads on the ground! They should put sum extra padding around that ride!
Overall, its a great place and a wonderful addition to tcona! This place will make sum amazing memories for many years to come I hope!. Pls support this local biz and help...
