The Edge Tap & Grill — Restaurant in Winnipeg

Note that there is one irrationally angry customer (an acquaintance of mine) that is leaving multiple 1 star reviews of this place on different accounts, and is convincing others to do the same. The fact of the matter is, the DJ the day we all went (Ally), was great. She (the DJ) sang one song - and even thanked the audience for letting her sing the one song - and for this, the place is getting review bombed by one angry customer. The angry customer is also mad that she put in a request to sing realistically at around 11:30/midnight, and didn't get to sing until about 1:30am. Considering there are a lot of people there also wanting to sing, I don't see what the DJ could have done about that. Sped up time?

My actual review of the place would be, it's possibly the best karaoke bar in Winnipeg. It has an okay amount of song options if you like singing out of the ordinary songs, although it could definitely use more. Other than that, it's great. Fantastic atmosphere, an actual stage for people to sing on(!), good equipment, etc. I do highly recommend you put in your song requests as early as possible, because it can certainly take an hour or more to sing, due to this place...

Went to karaoke last night for the first time didn't get to sing even though I showed up at 10 didn't get to sing until 1 I'm very disappointed in the hostess ally because she sang more than once and she was supposed to be working and I also noticed that lots of people got to sing multiple times except for me I've been to multiple karaoke bars and this is the worst service I have ever received....

I came pretty early for Karaoke and the dj Ally put everyone else in front of me and all my friends got to go and she sang before I was able to sing. She should only be letting the people sing and not put the same groups all the time. Very disappointed I am seriously considering not...
