A&W — Restaurant in Woolwich

Been to this location numerous times, orders are often made with little care, ingredients are sub par at times and business is unwilling to make it right. My patience has been exhausted after many disappointments. Today I ordered a papa with cheese and onion rings, the papa had no cheese or teen sauce as well as a stale bun and the onion rings had no seasonings.

I would let this slide if it was the first offense, but alas here we are. Order was 15ish dollars and when I called after digging in 20 mins later all I got was a sorry we'll give your free cheese on your next papa and a pie..... I'm pretty sure cheese and a pie don't cost 15 dollars. Keep it.

Mistakes happen I get it, but make it right!

Save yourself the frustration and money and drive up the street to any of the other places, they'll be 3/4 of the price and hopefully get your order right. That or head for waterloo or kitchener, plenty of other A&Ws that actually care for...

I recently visited this location and while the food was excellent, the service was extremely unprofessional. The cashier, a teenager named Lucas Harmun, was openly rude throughout my experience.

I was placing a large order for my family, who were already seated, when Lucas muttered under his breath, “No wonder you’re so fat.” This level of disrespect is unacceptable. I’ve worked in the restaurant industry for over 20 years and have never encountered an employee behaving this way.

After taking my order, he pointed to the tip jar. When I showed no interest, he picked it up and demanded a “30% tip.” Once I paid (without tipping), he physically grabbed me, tried to push me aside, and shouted “Next Biggle,” even though no one else was in line.

The food at A&W remains great as always, but I strongly caution others about this employee. Behavior like this is damaging to the restaurant’s reputation and should not...

Every time I visit this store, I notice how well the crew works together and I think a lot of that credit goes to the store manager. I have visited a lot of stores and seen a lot of different managers and how they treat their crew members but you can tell she really values her team. She treats every crew member with kindness and respect, and she makes sure their hard work doesn’t go unnoticed.

It feels like she genuinely cares about the people she works with, not just the job itself. There’s always a positive energy in the store, and the staff seem happy and motivated which says a lot about the kind of support and appreciation they must be getting from their manager.
