Harvey's — Restaurant in Woolwich

This is the Harvey’s in Elmira. April 22, 2025 at about 5:30 pm. I was so disgusted that the sitting area was so unclean!! I moved a table and there was a French fry under one leg and then 100+ ants came out from under that table leg. So gross. I informed the supervisor. Also we had a baby so used a high chair. There was 2 and they hadn’t been really cleaned in months with the grim on them. We ate there for 45 minutes and no one came and removed the ants. This all made me so sad that the workers do not do a thorough cleaning job of this restaurant. Such friendly workers but cleanliness is such a health issue and I hope they will do better...

The service of this place was awful. Our food was done and sitting under the light in front of us for almost 15 mins, the older lady kept taking drive through orders instead of just finishing our order sitting there. A younger girl came back from break I assume, and she was on the ball. The price was outrageous, $43 for two meals. With the poor service and friend out condiments for that price we should have gone to a full service restaurant. What a disappointment. And so much for fast food. It took entirely way too long. This is my favorite Harvey's/ Swiss Chalet to go. Suzy has been the one to take my orders every time I've been here. She is super friendly and gave good advice too. Thank you, Suzy! Normally I don't get a chance to say thank you to the one preparing my food but the last time the cook came out and said I few words to me and I was able to thank her as well I believe her name tag said Aggie. She prepared the rib and chicken combo for me. My all-time favorite dish! Thank you, Aggie. And also a big good job to the whole team for making our visit...
