Korea House: A Taste of Korea in Yellowknife Yellowknife may have limited options for international cuisine, but Korea House is a gem that brings the warmth and comfort of authentic Korean dishes to the city—perfect for those long winters. The menu is filled with delicious options, and if you’re not a fan of spicy food, no worries! The staff is happy to adjust the spice level to suit your preferences. Portions are generous, making every dish well worth the price. My personal favorite is the Jeyuk Bokkeum—a flavorful, stir-fried pork dish that always hits the spot. Whether you’re craving a hearty Korean meal or looking to try something new, Korea House is a must-visit. It’s a reliable go-to for anyone seeking great Korean food in Yellowknife. Just a heads-up: they’re closed on Sundays, so plan your visit accordingly!

The food here is surprisingly good. I had the pork bibimbap and the meat was very good. The other toppings and the rice were well-done as well. The service was fast and workers were very friendly. The only thing I didn’t like about the atmosphere was that I was the only one there. I’ve also never been to Yellowknife before so I don’t know what food prices are like here but I felt like this meal was quite expensive. However, with the big portion and excellent taste, I’d definitely recommend Korea House.

We google checked and found the rate is 4.2 then went. We ordered kimchi sea food stew and pork stew. From its picture of the menu, it is contained by a big pot as other Korean restaurant.but we were served by a small paper bowl, only 3 small shrimps for sea food stew and very very small pieces of pork slice for pork stew. The price is extremely high, $17.95. As I think it is only worth $5 each. Also the female front desk is not so friendly. Highly not recommend!

I really enjoy the food here, and understand that costs will be higher due to the price of groceries here. Ultimately, it is about flavour for me and they deliver.

I should have taken pictures of the dishes but was eager to dig into them and forgot about the photos.

The staff are always welcoming and friendly to my wife and I too, which makes good food even better.

Today I ordered a spicy noodle dish and they cautioned me it was very hot. I wanted to try and said to go ahead. Whew. It was spicy. Tasty yes, but wow did I sweat. :)

I recommend the restaurant! Supporting local businesses is important to me, and this one has...

Nice establishment, it really is very clean just like the reviews say. I ordered the Gamjatang and was most disappointed. It lacked any of the toppings pictured on the menu and there was such a small amount of meat on the pork bones for a meal that cost $18. The soup consisted of spicy broth, with honestly little flavour at all, two very small and very soggy potatoes and a few bites of pork which was way more effort than it was worth to get off the bone. My partner ordered the Bulgogi and it was very tasty, so the restaurant is not a complete write-off. Just hit and miss with...
