The Roost — Restaurant in George Town

The Roost Bar and Grill: an amazing outdoor breeze style restaurant with great food, drinks and large screen TV’s to watch a game. The owners and staff are super friendly. Hate to single out anyone, they are all great … but Dany and Kelsey were both amazing and so pleasant to chat with. The menu is casual as is the atmosphere. Try the wings, delicious! Great local Cayman brew on tap. We were in Cayman for 10 days and went twice for dinner and watched 3 Leaf hockey games while having drinks and apps in the evening! Located right next door to Cayman Pickelball and plenty of parking. Definitely stumbled upon a gem, can’t wait...

The Roost is a nice chill spot near central George Town and offers a nice, vibrant breezy environment for you to relax and have a drink.

It’s also in the same compound as Pickleball Cayman, which is a great option to go enjoy then come over for an after workout hang.

I had the fish and chips, overall it was okay, tasted fine, chips and peas were tasty but the fish lacked taste and you could have tell that it’ was frozen based on the taste. It’ was an okay meal, nothing fancy.

The food was bar food but done very well. Good selection of indulgent food but has healthy options. The menu was great. Chicken wings are huge too. Salads were very well done also. The service was lacking though. We sat for 30 minutes after our table was cleared before we had our checks. Overall worth a stop, I doubt everyone has the same server or experience as us with it and the food and pickleball loving atmosphere make...
