Chinese cuisine on a Jeremy Kyle set, Tom Sharpe would have loved this place, although exactly what it is a throwback to is anyone's guess. The main point, however, is that the food is very good. The service is more than adequate, and occasionally they have some wine. For the price point, this place is extraordinarily satisfying. The decor is a failed Madame Tussaud parody. Loads of plastic flowers, imitation linen and fake marble. Luckily the temptation to plaster the premises with dragons, lanterns and bells has been avoided. It also, as is normal in Chile, sports a large sushi menu which remains to me largely inedible as for some reason all sushi dishes here include cheese. By 'here' I mean Chile, and not just this place. What possessed this country to start corrupting the overwhelmingly lactose intolerant nation's cuisine by adding lashings of horrendous US-style white paste pretending to be cheese is beyond me. Setting aside for a moment that this is a Chinese restaurant, not Japanese, but that's another issue.

If you come here for lunch during the week, do sit upstairs and stay until at least 4. There's a TV tuned to local news which switches to soaps and draws out the staff (now divested of uniforms) to gather at empty tables and utilise the free wi-fi to check their phones, often very loudly. La verdad es que la nueva persona que atiende dice un contenido de un plato y no tiene ninguna relación con lo que necesitas pedí parrilla de carne y eran trozos groseros de pimiento y no venían los 3 tipos de carne que ella informó quedaron de cambiarlo y jamás trajeron nada soy alérgica a algas y otras cosas que venían al FINAL PERDÍ MI DINERO ES EL COLMO QUE TE DIGAN QUE ENVIARAN OTRO PLATO Y NO LO ENVÍEN ESTO SOBREPASA CUALQUIER LIMITE DE PACIENCIA...
