We’re a bit disappointed that we picked this restaurant among its 2 other outlets for our first meal in Guangzhou. We are longing to eat roast goose only to find out this outlet does not serve roast goose. We tried the special sauce char siu, and it was absolutely delicious—perfectly balanced with just the right amount of fatty richness and tender lean meat. However, the roast pigeon was a bit disappointing—overly dry with a slightly gamey flavor. On the brighter side, the eel fried rice was fantastic, packed with flavorful strips of eel, while the steamed squid served on bitter gourd offered a unique combination.
