This is the really quite the dim sum place in Guangzhou for a super luxe experience . The restaurant is at level 71 and gives aerial view of the city . Reservations highly recommended .
What struck me was the big size of the shrimp dumpling it’s super big . Prawns were plump And juicy . Heard from server this is canton system to be OTT .
What was the outstanding was the spiced pigeon leg. It was crispy on the outside and inside was filled with a special filling such as mushroom and rice . Roast chicken was crispy and tender .
The lily bulb soup was really quite exquisite , the bulb was like a flower in the pond . See attached pictures .
The char siew Chee Cheong fun had thick slices or pork in between.
The char siew puff had a ginger taste but the puff pastry was light and buttery.
The crab shell was a surprise and was super cheesy , too heavy for my Taste.
We also ordered the laksa roll it was their speciality but maybe nothing too unusual.
Must order is the 姜撞奶 steamed milk with ginger was excellent , it’s prepared right in...
Read moreGreat service from the maître d', the rest is terrible. The food weren't explained when served, tasted very average for a course / tasting menu. And towards the end we were rushed to finish, serving the next dishes when we werent even done, and leaving old plates cluttered on the table. Not worth the 1000 CNY, we had the Michelin menu and Chef recommended menu. Both not Michelin nor Chef worthy.
The restaurant is awkwardly placed, the side away from the window are no walls but just large pillars, we can hear everything from the outside which makes the experience terrible, at some point we feel like animals at the zoo being watched.
We paid in total 2934 CNY, very...

They couldn’t even get the basic cha siu right; the meat was tough and chewy because the tendon wasn’t properly cooked. The aubergine was completely drenched in oil, the squid was overly rubbery, and while their signature chicken was decent, the rest of the food was, frankly, disappointing.
Considering we’re in Guangzhou, calling this place Michelin-worthy feels absurd. To make matters worse, you won’t get a view of the Canton Tower unless you book the largest private room. The service, too, falls far short of...
