TREE café — Restaurant in Hong Kong Island

by far the wors dining experience I had this year. Absolutely sub －mediocre food at grossly overpriced prices. Pasta salad and a wrap took ( I kid you not) 38 minutes since order was placed. No service mind whatsoever from the frontline staff. if you ever go there on weekends, wait at least 20~30 mins to find a seat and do not expect resto staff to help you securing a seat bc they will do absolutely nothing for you, except quarrel with you and make your experience as horrible as possible.

I visited this mall to check out furniture and this cafe seems to be the only restaurant. I ordered a veggie bowl and flat white. The coffee taste is good with adequate coffee flavour but not strong. And veggie bowl is simply excellent. The veggies are very fresh and I love every ingredient in it, even the pumpkin tastes very good. I visited this on Sunday and not many people inside. The furniture is from TREE which are very solid, comfy and well maintained. I had a very leisure time here. One thing to note though, the staff taking my order is super inattentive. I have to repeat veggie bowl for 3 times to get it right. Somehow she kind of forcing me to take tuna bowl instead...

If you happen to be at Horizon Plaza in Ap Lei Chau, then you can't go wrong with a visit to Tree Cafe. If you make a purchase at the furniture store you often get a free coffee coupon to use at the cafe, and the coffee is pretty good! While you're there, there are some great dessert selections and a limited hot meal selection, as well as sanwiches and savoury pastries. All this in a homey atmosphere decorated with Tree furniture.
