🇭🇰 Lai Chi Kok 荔枝角|Chill Vietnam Cuisine and Bar
When my friends ask me for some recommendations for Vietnamese 🇻🇳 cuisine, this one pops up in my mind! They have a lot of memorable dishes that I love a lot! 😍 I tried it again recently and here are what I ordered:
🍜 Mixed Beef Rice Noodle In Soup (Top Blade) 🍜 This Iconic Pho has it all! Their iconic soup base with mixed beef 🥩 makes you feel like you are in Vietnam! I love their noodles a lot 😋 and I highly recommend you to try it with the lime! 🍋🟩
🥘 Vietnamese Curry Farmer's Buns with Cheese (Beef Tenderloin) 🥘 This is my favourite dish of all! I love how good it tastes when curry meets cheese! 🧀 Their beef inside is also pre-cooked to perfection before submerging them inside the tasty curry! 👍
🥓 Grilled Pork Belly With Brown Sugar Coconut Sauce 🥓 I especially love this sauce a lot! It tastes so unique and fitting for the juicy pork 🐖 and I would definitely order this again next time!
🥥 Vietnamese Style Taro Balls With Coconut Milk 🥥 To end the meal with some Vietnamese dessert, their coconut milk is top notch! 😆 The jelly-like coconut milk tastes wonderful and I like to mix every bite with some strawberry 🍓 or mango, 🥭 along with some crunchy bits and those red beans underneath! 白夏酸子鮮魚窩:Boneless sliced white fish cooked in an appetising sour savoury tamarind soup, paired with bean sprouts, tofu puffs, tomatoes, and a special Viet produce: young lotus stems!
越式芋圓椰汁凍:The bunny coconut panna cotta is a must-try. We were both stunned by how cute, bouncy and jiggly it was! Served with sweet coconut crisps, taro balls in heart shapes, strawberries, mangoes and some bubbly mini rice balls/ sago. Both the presentation and texture were excellent!
