Twelve Flavors — Restaurant in Kowloon

Twelve Flavours is one of my favorite restaurants providing Sichuan dishes. There are many branches in different parts of Hong Kong.

There is a new branch set up on second floor of D2 Place Phase 2. I took the opportunity to buy boiled fish with pickled cabbages, my favorite dish, for dinner.

Boiled fish with pickled cabbages is a signature dish of this shop. You can choose different degrees of spiciness to suit your taste. If you do not like spicy food, you can still enjoy this delicious dish by opting not spicy.

The dish is large in size, enough for two to three persons. There are generous amount of sliced fish without bone. The fish is tasty and has good texture. The broth is full of flavour, well seasoned and appetising. There are tasty mushrooms and pickled cabbages. I have also ordered starch vermicelli, which is the best partner for boiled fish.

Glutinous brown sugar rice cake is a yummy dessert which is highly recommended. They are chewy and not too sweet. There are eight pieces to satisfy your appetite.

as usual, good food, good taste but the serving quantity is quite varied. please see two same items I have ordered and l got different quantities. photo attached here for comparison, share this so 12 favors can standardise. look at the less quantity, how can this be a lunch set, so...

又買外賣加餸，今次唔買燒味。試下其他口味，不過原來川菜唔係得#冷盤，或者水煮可以外賣，原來#香鍋 呢種用鍋加醬料炒嘅菜式，都可以外賣，咁就即刻去#十二味 買下啦！今次加埋啲澱粉質，寬粉或者薯仔呢啲，最後飯都唔洗煮，淨係淥菜就搞掂。

經典香辣鍋 小辣 走芫荽 $38 本身有醬油香，加埋各種芝麻、青紅辣椒、炸黃豆，各種食材都好入味，最少叫5款配菜，今次就試下啲感覺好食嘅味道。 雪花牛肉＋$78 有雪花肥牛同嫩牛肉揀選，呢啲都知道係咩，所以試下雪花牛肉，原來都係牛肉片，無鬆過，係天然嘅感覺。 台灣魚腐＋$48 用腐皮包住，甜甜地嘅魚片，配辣嘅醬汁，就會試到辣味，而唔會太刺激 鮮腐竹＋$28 最鍾意食腐竹，今次炒得乾身，唔會融埋一舊 寬粉＋$28 最吸汁嘅款式，今次啲寬粉有剪開，入味之餘，方便夾 花菜＋$28 就係福建大椰菜花，都要食啲菜，保持營養均衡。辣醬同菜炒埋一齊，辣度係會減低嘅
