Food Garden — Restaurant in Kowloon

D2 place was so flooded with people! Needed a wine break after walking for an hour. Read a lot of good reviews on Food Garden ETC so let's give it a try.

We arrived around 3pm. Lunch menu was still available that ranged from pasta to meat choices.

The soup of the day was a tomato pumpkin soup. Sweet with an appetizing sourness.

Salad that came with the set was a Caesar salad. Fresh veggies topped with crisp croutons and shaved cheese.

We picked the Prime Grade Angus rib eye and requested medium. Big portion. Finely seasoned. Not the kind of baking soda tenderized beef. Served with pan-fried veggies on side.

We ordered a bottle of Altos Las Hormigas Malbec 2020 to pair with steak. Full-bodied. Tasted cinnamon and blackberry. Earthy and smoky notes. Firm tannins. Good...

This restaurant charges a reasonable price for all the menu food. You can choose salad, soap, steaks, and so on. For the steaks, the restaurant provides many type of steak to choose. They are from US. And some are from Japan, which are more expensive. I have tried the mid price range, the chef cook very well and taste great. The overall restaurant is very spacious, and would not feel crowded. Last but not least , the dessert I have tried is the milk pudding. Also good to try. Service is not bad, restaurant atmosphere is not bad, but the food there is not good. Especially pizza, can tell it is not freshly made, it should be reheated. Seafood is not fresh too, mussel and prawn are not just the frozen one, it is really bad quality. Sadly, the food they served really like microwave food.
