If you like noodle, toast and milk tea prepared in retro style, do not miss the chance to try at Wing Shun. Its style is similar to Heap Seng Leong in Singapore but the taste is much better.
Satay beef in instant noodles is their renowned dish. You can also choose plain beef if you do not like strong taste of soup broth. Satay sauce is full of peanut fragrance and yummy. Beef is very fresh and not over marinated. Furthermore, instant noodles are optimally cooked, not soft but chewy. It remains very hot when serving. A must try dish.
Their beef sandwiches are very natural, meaning no addition of softening agent or MSG. However, the beef remains soft and delicious. You may order beef in scramble eggs or in scramble eggs and cheese. The inside stuff is very hot but the sandwich is crunchy and not soft. Remember to ask for toast bread.
Milk tea is not smooth and thin in milk. Obviously portion of tea has dominated the drink, a typical old school recipe for preparing milk tea. I like the drink as it is not heavy. More importantly, I am not drinking milk but tea. I like its fragrance.
The dinning environment is quite packed and press you to finish...

The taste was good with a pretty strong flavour. The beef was so-so in terms of quality, not too bad overall. But the three men that sat at the table told me Yuen Long locals don’t come here for satay beef. They ordered an omelette with fish cake, which looked quite good. They recommended the wok fried beef for the lunch menu and the pork chop for breakfast. I would come back and try those. A thing to note is the availability of two kinds of chilli, one is a paste and the other is oil based. That was a...
Read moreSaw this restaurant recommended from a TV program and decided to check it out since it does look so appealing but in reality it isn't the same as what I saw from TV. We ordered the satay beef with instant noodles but the beef definitely haven't been stir fry, it was just plainly poached. The cheese pan fried pork chop sandwich was ok, pork chop tasty enough but not much taste to the melted cheese except for a poodle of egg yolk and some cheesey looking liquid. Personally the bread can toasted longer so it will hold up better and not soggy with the runny stuffs. The cashier lady was very polite and warm. Overall with this price point it is really not too bad compare to some overprice noodle joint...
