Tianyuankui Bar — Restaurant in Jinzhong

This struck us as the best restaurant on the main street of Pingyao. They offer all the same local dishes as other restaurants, but the quality is much better. For instance we tried the famous Pingyao oat noodles elsewhere, but were disappointed. Once we tried the same dish in Tian Yuan Kui we actually enjoyed this dish. Also, the atmosphere is warm and welcoming. All the staff speak basic English and try to accommodate you in every way possible. We ate here twice in our 3 days in Pingyao. Decidimos cenar aquí, vimos que estaba casi lleno. La atencion fue extraordinaria por parte del camarero, a pesar de no hablar nada de inglés intento comunicarse con nosotros bastante, nos trajo un par de vinagres de elaboración propia para probarlos.
