Food:

Angus beef don ($118) : Salty with way too much sauce. Beef was mediocre - overall it tastes like Chinese stir fried beef with onions.

Toro roll with sesame ($86): rice was not freshly made, toro was bland and practically tasteless. And the seaweed was soggy - yes everything went wrong with the roll lol

Roasted Pork Udon ($70): The pork was not properly flavoured, nor was it well roasted to be called "Char-siu". It was so poorly cooked that I couldn't finish it. It was just belly fat, that's it. Tasted even worse than the cheap pork you use in Chinese soup.

Overall: The worst "japanese restaurant" that I have been to in HK. Way overpriced for such disastrous dishes, and it's disrespectful to japanese cuisine. The chef should just retire. Period.

To all the "good reviewers" (assuming they are not bots) of this restaurant: you should probably visit Japan at least once in your life to experience real japanese cuisine, OR just get your taste...

🌟 Deserves 10 Stars! 🌟

Everything we ordered was absolutely delicious! We’re sushi lovers and have tried it all over the world, and this place truly impressed us. One standout dish we highly recommend is the truffle rolls — hands down the best we’ve ever had. My partner and I both agreed we’ve never tasted rolls this good before. Truly outstanding!

Julie, one of the attendants, took such great care of us. She was sweet, attentive, and made us feel so welcome.

A small tip: the restaurant isn’t very big and can get crowded. If you’re seated near the door, it can get a bit chilly — so bringing an extra jacket might be a good idea. Other than that, everything was perfect, and we really, really loved it.

We’ll definitely be back the next time we’re in...

Very good authentic Japanese food!! Flavour was awesome and the gfood was very fresh. The aburi salmon belly was seared just right with a tinge of char and it literally melts into our mouth. The cheese salmon aburi was also so so good!! The char on the salmon paired perfectly with the creamy avocado and cheese! We also tried the grilled pork and asparagus and it was so so delicious. If I had any complains, it would be the portion size of the Yakitoris. If it was a larger portion, it would be perfect! Overall, we all enjoyed the meal very much! Do check them out!!!
