Awful experience, the seating staff was atrocious.
When I arrived I said table for 1 and she asked if I had a reservation and after I said no, she told me to wait though lots of empty tables. Still no problem. About 5 minutes later some other people came, same questions, same answer but they got seated. When I asked her again, she just said wait. I was furious! And I showed it.
It is exceptionally sad that u need to make noise to have a meal. Of course I then got seated.
I know I should just find somewhere else to eat but since I was in a rush, I decided to stay. This review is for management to monitor their staff.

You can tell they haven’t changed much since opening 30-40 years ago, but in a good way. The food was good and the staff was very friendly. Not many restaurant in Hong Kong would have waiters/waitresses start casual conversation with you. 召喚浸大人!相信各位浸中嘅朋友對呢間餐廳都唔陌生,佢就係位於島仔嘅百味閣餐廳。原來唔經唔覺佢都已經30周年,記得小編以前讀書嘅時候有時間嘅話,都會過嚟食吓午餐。今次返到嚟估唔到係試佢嘅晚餐!呢間扒房裝修古色古香,入面有非常signature嘅彩繪玻璃天窗同非常經典嘅酒吧枱,呢類嘅港式扒房真係買少見少。
湯&包
扒房必定要食嘅就係佢嘅羅宋湯,呢度嘅羅宋湯非常足料,蔬菜比例佔多,蕃茄味比較突出。另外佢哋嘅餐包係用蒜蓉法包,蒜蓉味突出幾香濃。兩個配埋一齊食,真係經典嘅搭配。

芝士焗松露餡豬柳扒 $145
佢係豬柳上面鋪滿咗蘑菇同芝士整成嘅菜式,再配上意大利飯。豬扒比較薄,但係口感尚算軟腍,唔會乾柴。整體嘅味道芝士比較突出,唔多食到蘑菇嘅香味,反而吸滿咗醬汁嘅酸味,搭配上比較奇怪。至於意大利飯雖然未去到正宗咁al dente ,但都算有啲口感,軟中帶硬,味道偏向忌廉,口感Creamy。但配埋豬扒略嫌太膩。

鐵鍋爆帶子牛扒粒 $160
呢個幾有驚喜,佢每粒帆立貝都非常大粒,而且唔會有腥味,啖啖肉。至於牛柳粒肉味香濃,肉質軟腍,比想像中更好。配上佢嘅青胡椒汁,係幾惹味嘅。佢嘅主食係闊條菠菜麵,口感麻麻,純粹攞嚟填飽肚。
味道:7.7/10
甜品
最後仲會有甜品,係佢哋自家製嘅咖啡燉蛋。呢個甜品係暖嘅,咖啡味幾突出,但就偏向咖啡糖嗰種香甜味道。整體味道係唔錯嘅,唯獨是配上水果非常奇怪。
