I had dinner with my parents in Va Bene Italiano on a weekday evening. I am kind of disappointed with the table service. There were plenty of waiters in the hall but all were very busy with their own business. It took a while before our table got addressed and had someone to take our order. The waitress was very polite and helpful in explaining the dishes and making recommendations on what to order. However, the food were served in chaotic order. The pasta came first, then the two salads and the steak, followed by the bread basket and eventually the Parma harm with melon. The food was good in general. The scallop carpaccio was very fresh and well dressed. The Burrata was very creamy. The rib eye steak was perfectly cooked to medium rare and there were a wide selection of bread in the bread basket (the croissant was wonderful). The service seriously let down the food because the hot plates became cold when we finished the salad.

$298 afternoon tea sat for two What a bargain! The restaurant is quite popular, so you have to wait in line to be seated even if you have made a reservation. Each person gets around 13 pieces of food! I like the savoury ones more than the dessert ones. The crab meat croissant is very nice! Croissant is flaky, very crispy on the outside, and filled with crab meat!!!!!! Parma ham on the crispy toast with sweet melon balls. Sandwich is egg salad one. Scones are yum, many raisins in it, will be better if it is a bit bigger. Have to ask waitress for the clotted cream and blueberry jam. Blueberry cheesecakes and Tiramisu are my picks. Tiramisu base is very moist with enough coffee liqueur:) Got seats at the sofa, comfy place to have a nice afternoon tea with my friend! Would recommend to you all!

Food was good but service is meh. I came for a takeaway dinner, and ordered 2 pizza's. The waiter who took my order said 10 mins. Quite quick I thought, so I waited at the entrance. But after 10mins of browsing on my phone I looked up at the same waiter only smiled back, so I thought my order wasn't ready. 20mins later I started getting impatient since I still didn't have my food. I was spying into the kitchen, and the waiter was folding a pizza box for takeaway, so I had high hopes. When the pizza finally came out at 25mins, I gave the waiter my ticket to ask, but the pizza wasn't mine! But my pizzas were already there at the counter, ready for me to take so maybe I missed them already when I was scrolling my phone. But the waiter had not thought of notifying me that my order was ready? There was only me and one other customer waiting, couldn't the waiter have known my order enough to ask me? Not happy my pizza was cold, I ate it anyways because I was already famished.

Food at best was average but for the price was actually not great. While the images look good, the flavour seemed to lack in Comparison. Cheese and charcuterie board was not like the picture with cheese being cut into small cubes. However would recommend the beef carpaccio. Waitresses were nice and accommodating, atmosphere was great with nice interiors but the food let it down. Wine selection was not that great as the recommended wine was too dry and didn't pair that well with the recommended dish. Don't think we will make a return for a while due to the price point. Can get better italian/western foods for this price at another location or even within the mall unfortunately.

Tried the lunch semi buffet several times (good quality and value). This was my first time for dinner here. Super nice food and cozy environment for friend gathering. Especially like the 700g Black Angus ribeye steak 🥩, tender and suckling, with a sweetness of aged beef. The pizza 🍕 is also a must have dish of this restaurant; while the mixed seafood resotto with sea urchin is very strong flavor, order it only if you are a super fan of urchin (super thick and strong urchin in the sauce) as the price is a bit high and the portion is quite small. On a whole, super nice food and happy chit chat with friends this night. Price: $550 per head for 3 persons

The most underrated semi buffet and Italian restaurant in HK. I have been to practically all the top grade restaurants and this is top tier class food. The selection of ingredients and the cooking of the chef is absolutely delicious. The steak is done perfectly, the chefs at Morton should be embarrassed by the quality and price this restaurant brings. Must book one week in advance and I'm sure to come here at least ten times a year.(so long as the quality doesn't change). Service is first class. First time I'm giving 10/10 for all categories. This place is a must try for foodies. You are missing out one of the best pasta pizza steak salad for it's price.
